DOA Shrimp vs Power Prawn USA [Round 2]

The 2nd round of the DOA Shrimp vs Power Prawn USA Jr head to head test has been completed, and the results are shown below.
In this video series, we are testing out the DOA and the Power Prawn USA Shrimp lures to see which one performs the best.

This 2nd test was on another hot summer day in which the fish were lethargic, so the bites required good casts up into the shade of mangrove overhangs with a slow retrieve to give the fish time to eat.
Once again, both lures had some action. But the Power Prawn USA Jr. pulled ahead due to being able to cover water more effectively (vs. the DOA which is best on a slow fall).

Hey great vid, for potential competition lure vs lure content a great way to test is to have more fisherman. You throw the power prawn and your friend throws the doa, I know it adds some different conditions to the content but it could work, amazing content will be joining the salt strong family soon

I'm from south east Texas, and I primarily fish the Sabine Pass area, like Lighthouse Cove, Keith's lake, etc.. and I know that these areas are full of oyster beds, but they're not showing up on the smart spot app.. any plans on updating that..? Thanks for all y'all do!!

Would love to see this same test done with the monster 3x shrimp against the power prawn.

The monster 3x can't be rigged on weighted hooks, so they certainly won't be able to compete for this type of fishing... it'll likely be very close for fishing deeper water given that they both will have good darting motion.

@@zacharydomire9945 always check your spool after a catch. The fight tension on the line can cause it to dig in if your spool line isn't tightly wound on. Hence if you have a dog in loop it will catch on the next cast.

DOA has been very successful for me over the years. . No jigging needed. Less is more.
