My two year male Doberman does not give kisses either and I don't want him too,..people try and say to him give me to some kisses I put a stop to that and I say never put your face in another person's dog's face...he bumps my butt with his nose...people forget that a dog licks themselves and a Dog's mouth is not clean.

people often take dogs after bad owners, and some bad behavior was imprintent before, they idiots blame dog. Absurd! Dogs sacrafice his life if he love you, and love from dog is easy to get. Only thing you need is be calm. Dog alsow will learn to behave the same way. Dog always want satisfy owner (but only when he love you). Treet them well, you will know what is real, pure love.

My Doberman Pincher was a wonderful dog and a rotten butch at the same time. The game of chew toy keep away. When I was chasing her, she would trot just fast enough to be out of reach. This was a dog that could break the sound barrier, so she knew exactly what she was doing. Very smart animal. I miss her so much.

idk i would say that that is true in 99.9% of cases but there are outliers where the owners gets the dog from a puppy does everything they can but due to its natural temperament/disposition it could be seen as a bad dog (as in doesnt get along with other dogs as there are many different efinitions of a bag dog) just my two cents

arbooz2000 I bet if someone tried to grab her or hit her they would be sorry, with what I seen in the guarding doberman video they would be good protectors. My little min pin acts the same way in my mom's lap when I'm pretending to get him or pretending to slap my mom on her arm he only ever mouths me or puts his mouth on my hand when he play attacks and charges or lunges that's it. It sounds so serious but it's generally just play.

They r good dogs. And not aggressive as they have been painted in the movies. And a big dog don't make a dog aggressive. A good home and loving owners is just they need, what all dogs need. And these ones clearly love their owners.

One of the best dogs to have. They MUST have human interaction and intense excerise daily.Gentle, loving, and quite smart. The only other comparable family dog is the Leonburger. A fantastic family dog!

Frank289100 had to come back.. Just remembered. I DID get bitten by a dobe years ago Because I passed a house one day... Spotted this dog.... Stuck my hand through the fence to stroke him and he bit me. Later found out that particular dog was Purley to guard the property. Was never allowed in the house. Which I find a bit sad to be honest. 😩

For every Dobermann I've ever owned... The first greeting in the morning? ... Is a cold nose in the groin... its like saying Hello, how are you, did you sleep well - is everything OK? After a few years, of this morning surprise ... you get used to it and are ready to deflect and defend.

My older brother was into Doberman for a while..had many....I loved them...clean dogs...no grooming necessary.....they were all sweet except for one...and he was a terror.....he was so mad and ferocious, his eyes would turn red.......barking and growling, even at his own family......just the way he was...was not treated bad at all....
