@@yesitisilastname5688 I have had 4 pit bulls, a mini pig, and 3 cats. But now I have 2 pit bulls and a chocolate-colored Dobie. The dobie is still a puppy tho. And we also have 1 cat but are working on rescuing another one and we still have a mini pig!

Wow-- over the years, many years ago, now, I had 5 Dobies, and THANK GOD, they DIDN'T WHINE and have TANTRUMS like that!! YIKES---- they did "talk" tho, only it was cute, NOT annoying like that dog. My Dobies were GREAT and I still miss them, even tho they've been gone for a very long time now. I have always planned on getting another 1, and that time is now coming close. I have always dreamed of a RED one, so hopefully, GOD WILL BLESS ME WITH THE PERFECT 1. And I hope that it is just as GREAT as all of my other ones. 🙏🙏💜

@@louisameadows3071 my female Doberman wouldn’t bark or howl but she would drool some 40 weight dog slobber out of the corners of her mouth to where it looked like there were shoe laces hanging down about 6 inches on both sides ! Then she’d rest her chin on the table and put her nose against my plate and follow my fork from my plate to my mouth, then she’d drag her head across the table smearing this dog slobber as she moves and put her chin on my chest and stare up at me! She had zero shame in begging! Me, my male Doberman, visitors, people waiting in the lobby at the vets, anyone within her line of sight basically

The name of the breed comes from a >tax collector< named Karl Friedrich Louis Dobermann whose duties also included getting stray dogs off the streets. From these he selected the most aggressive ones which he then used during breeding and that's where this breed originates from. And yes, they are officially ranked among breeds which are most likely to be aggressive towards strangers, both humans and dogs.

@@CoolKoon I know all about the Breed I've had quite a few. Keep making assumptions from nothing. I tried to post a link but of course YT deleted it. That link had the Doberman dead last on "dangerous dog breeds" dogs like the Labrador Retriever were more dangerous. The only generalization you can make is yes the Doberman is a "large" dog breed and any large dog owned by the wrong person could be dangerous. A pack of very small dogs is equally as dangerous. I remember a lady was mauled to death by a pack of wild small terriers a few years ago.

I’ve had five Dobermans and they’ve all acted like that. If you tell them, they can’t have some thing they’ll go get something else and start shaking their head with it in their mouth. They’re hilarious. That’s why I’ve had five. And considering getting another one. I miss my Doberman. They are the greatest dogs, greatest companions, and so intelligent and loving. There’s no dog like a Doberman far as I’m concerned.❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️

You have to be and stay strict with this, otherwise they will continue to beg every time, because they were successful. Now I have never had a Doberman, but I have had labradors and I can only imagine that it's pretty similar across all breeds that like to eat

One of my very favorite pet companions was a red Doberman. She had been abandoned at the kennel where I boarded my Samoyed Husky. We adopted her and she was THE sweetest girl. She thought she was a lap dog. :/ I took her to obedience training and the people who bred/showed dogs said she had an amazing body and her ears were cut beautifully so she had come from good bloodlines. I was able to get a certificate and show her in local obedience trials. After having taken my Samoyed (whose middle name was "Stubborn") through obedience training, the Dobie was wonderful. She so wanted to please and her precision in the trials was amazing. Even won a blue ribbon!!! She's been gone now over 30 years and I still miss her. If I had a house or home of my own, I would DEFINITELY adopt another Doberman.

Such a hilarious dog! My family had a Doberman until he passed due to cancer last April. He was only four years old. We still miss him and we are wanting to get another Doberman puppy. Dobermans are by far one of my favorite breeds. People make them out to be mean, but they are so gentle and kind with their family (Except for when they are stepping on your toes. That hurts).

@@billymann5325 I really hate to say it, but I don't quite remember off the top of my head because his death was sudden and I was pretty emotionally distraught, and I wasn't the one directly involved with his medical issues. My family has talked about it since then but I still can't remember right now (My not remembering these details is frustrating me now that you asked and I realized I can't think of it off the top of my head). I'll have to ask my parents to remind me. We only learned he had cancer right before he died because incompetent people did the lab test on his blood and we had vets who couldn't figure out his issues. At that point, he was too far gone, and my Dad had to make the heartbreaking choice of putting him down. He was so weak that he passed a lot quicker than the vets said he would. Since his death we have found out his natural odor was stinkier than Doberman's are supposed to be, and he was much bulkier than a regular Doberman, and this seems to be be an issue with the dogs from a particular breeder we got our Doberman from. We have just recently found out that Dobermans can have issues if they are not neutered and don't get the chance to mate, which was the case of for our dog. He had tripped in a mole hill and hurt his leg, and somehow that seem to have activated whatever he had going on inside of him. As for good news, the day I posted my comment, we got news that we could adopt a bit of an older Doberman puppy who needed a new home because the old lady who had gotten him couldn't take care of him. A few days later, my Dad went to go see him to determine if he was a good fit for us, he decided the puppy was, and he brought him home (This puppy being from a different breeder we were in contact with and who seems to have much more genetically healthy dogs). We now have a new Doberman puppy in our lives and we love him! It's weird that this video happened to be in my recommended that day, almost as if God was hinting something was coming. I don't know if that was the case, but I believe in God, and He works in mysterious ways, so I credit it to Him!

I had 5 Dobies over a number of years, 1 (female) I got from a quality breeder in PA. , when I lived in CT, I took her back there to have her mated, and then I ended up keeping 2 of her sons. Oh how I love ❤ DOBIES. Anyway, the female developed stomach cancer when she was fairly old- I can't remember what her age was. Also, 1 of her female pups (that I had given to my GF) also came down with cancer of something. ANY breed of dog can get cancer-- they have been so domesticated. Anyway, I am SO happy to hear that Dad ok'd this new Pup!!! I wish you ALL MANY HAPPY, HEALTHY YEARS TOGETHER! I still miss my Dobies, and I decided years ago that I would make a "bucket list" and on that list ( which is getting closer now that I 'm up in age) I put a RED DOBIE! I always wanted a RED,that's why I brought my female back to,the kennel for breeding, and I got to choose from like 5 males, and I picked this AWESOME, BUFF, RED MALE!!!! I thought for sure she'd have at LEAST 1 red !!! NOOOOO 7 black + tan. 😢 So , I 'm doing my research now and I believe that I found a quality breeder in NH--- I'm in Maine now. I haven't filled out the required paperwork yet, because I want to drive up there to see it first. My girlfriend,who lives in CT, who had the female of my litter and lost her, also wants another 1, so I think that maybe we'll both go and buy pups. GOD WILLING. Oh my , I miss my boy so much, seeing this. He would throw tantrums over a fine meal he wasn’t going to get as well and I didn’t always appreciate it. God I miss those tantrums now since I lost that 14 year old baby this past Easter and would relish hearing it again lol. Gotta say this dog had a lot to say and the bottle throwing was a good touch.
