This is all my two dogs do....every....single....day. It’s awesome how much they love each other. They sleep together, eat together etc. I have to also mention it’s also annoying sometimes how loud they get. I’m certain my neighbors think they are killing each other.

They were fighting over dominancy, not playing... it's actually a bit stresfull for the dogs.. u can recognise it by doberman trying to put his paw on airedales back 😊 ... and they hurt doberman so much by giving him that thing over his mouth... i mean not by pain but humans just destroyed his ability of fighting for rank in their pack... it was doberman who overdominated the airedale, but airedale didnt want to let him.. thats why they fighted 😊 people know a big shit about dogs, even when it comes to basic stuffs wtfffff

No, very difficult to bully well bred and well brought up Airedale, they do not take disrespect from anything or anyone. Far more likely to see a skittish Doberman they're very sensitive dogs. Don't be deceived by appearances, Airedales are very serious dogs when they have to be, and when they don't have to be they are joyous clowns, which is why they're the the best all round dog in my opinion

I enjoyed this vid, but really, the Doberman has a black muzzle on you know. Never-the-less, Airedales are very quick and I have never seen one that was fearful of anything. They are very independent minded dogs as they hunt independently. Just say "go" and they do the rest. They are cagey with their bigger game adverseries and know when to evaluate and when to go in for the kill.

These are two fine dogs. The Doberman is a good dog for guarding/protection and as a pet. The Airedale has the same attributes and the one you see in this video weighs about 60 lbs. However, there are other Airedales know as Mountain or Orrang Airedales, which weigh about 130 lbs. It's been fact that 2 Orrang Airedales have brought down bears weighing upwards of 800 lbs. They are not widely advertised for sale because they are killers of other big dogs. .For example, they have an innate hatred for German Shepard dogs, While being walked on a lead, or running loose, if the ORA. crosses paths with a GS, look out! The outcome for the GS will not be good, even final. Better to stay with the regular size Airedale if you want a good all around dog.

empirical43..it's very true.sadly my airedale only lived 8 years.when i first got him as a pup he was very big he had huge paws and once a adult i assumed airedales where huge.avery time i would se another One they where 60 pounds.finally i did research and found out he was a mountain airedale he was 100 pounds and yes he hated german shepherds ,we had one in our neighbourhood and it would almost end in a death match.witch is weird because airedales love to have friends specially other dogs.your comments confirm the size and and beef with gs.👍

Aidan Kirby I grew up with Airedales, one was about 85 pounds, the other was about 70. The bigger one did get in a fight with a black bear in Kooteny National park years ago. Drove the bear out of the camp site, could the bear of won, of course, but the dog fought so hard the bear figured it wasn't worth sticking around and took off. Took about 20 min for the dog to come back. He didn't go after Shepherds and got along with most but did get in a scrap and pinned one pretty quick before my dad was able to pull him off. Think the fight was over a ball. Not old wives tales, lived with them.

My son has a 104 lb female Orrang. She doesn't have one mean cell in her whole body. My 15 lb bernedoodle walks up to her when she is eating, and she backs away and lets the pup eat. I've seen several Airedales that were "dog mean" but both of the airedales we've had were not.

I don't know where you live, but in my city, you are looking at about 200 dollars in fines--off leash law. I'm not sure those laws are bad, big dogs off leash, ranging out pretty far, maybe hurt or kill a smaller animal, maybe a child. I didn't like the ticket they gave me--but overall, probably a good law to have--more good than bad probably

Dobi has a muzzle on. I really want a Euro Doberman but they are expensive. About 2,000. I have a English mastiff that’s about 185 pounds, and she’s really good looking. I got her for 500 with papers. I also am about to get an air dale. He only costs 550. The cheap Doberman are all small American ones. I prefer the aggressive euro look.

@Joseph Cunningham maybe yours comes from the older blood lines as the ones I seen these days not got much go in them, also we have bred them into greyhound over the years as a lurcher breed but not been up to much and found the wheaten x greyhound breeds are much better… I also kept the smaller patterdales terrier to work them below ground and as ratters and for such a smaller dog they got so much aggression than I seen in any Airedale… Maybe you need to find another like your to breed and keep the blood lines also I have a lil story about the Airedale, I’m fro the U.K. and one of my old mates that sadly passed away was a breeder of the English bull terriers and many years ago he went out to America judging dogs and also sold his English bull pups out there, and when in America he got offered to be a kennel man for John Wayne the actor to be a breeder of the Airedale terriers but he turned the offer down but I’m going back many years and most probably I very young or not even born as Billy Morgan was much older than me… Take care my friend 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿👍🏼

Airedales are actually bred to be working dogs so they can have a wide variety of uses. Yes they are used for hunting rodents but they are used for hunting birds and boar as well. Airedales have been used as messenger dogs during World War 1, (there's actually some pictures of them in gas masks). They were chosen for the role due to their breed's tenaciousness and courage, which would have been ideal for a dog needing to focus on transporting medical supplies and letters while there's bombings and gun fire going on around them. Airedales today can also be used as service, and police dogs. The dogs in the video are just playing so it's not a fight. The doberman probably needed to have a muzzle because it might have problem with bitting to hard, and I can speak from experience from having airedales they really don't tell you if something is hurting them, nor are they deterred by something hurting them, so if the other dog has a bad biting problem it's probably for the best that the other dog be muzzled.
