This song reminds me of Umlazi Show in 70's. Music was forcing us stomp on the wooden tiles. What a beat!!!

Two of the best ALBUMS I got from columbia records were Dobie Gray's Hey Dixie, and Lovin Arms. I love them to this day!! Real music during the best years of America!! We weren't swamped with technology, people interacted with each other, and we were a generally happier people back then. Dang, I miss the good ol days!

One of the most underrated artists ever. As a teenager listening to various styles of music back in the 70s, I almost wore ot his albums I could find! Hey Dixie and Lovin Arms were my favorite albums! Our music tells the stories of our lives. This had to be the best time in my life. Life was so simple and happy back then. We were poor, but happy. Life was so much simpler, and kids got to be kids, instead of trying to turn them into adults by the time they are 15, or sooner. We had values and morals, and there wasn't all the hate. I think it all changed after I graduated. It was gone by the time my kids came along. I don't think we can go back. And that's a tragedy, especially for the kids.

@@dhornjr1 that is tragic as Dobie Gray was the best singer of all time to my mind and he was better live than on record ( or whatever digital medium his vinyls may have been copied to).
