Don't over tighten the top nut!! Some of you guys are taking it too literally and stripping out the threads!!! It will bottom out eventually and do not go past that point.

I have question,, i have 4 gen 4Runner,,if I added 4 inches of lift to my truck, so to adjust the sway bar link should be. Longer or shorter. Because the links are very close to the cv joints with the stock links 🤔 thanks

This is only for the rear. They should go about 1" to 1.5" longer than stock. Dobinsons doesn't offer new front links

@@ExitOffroad I'm confused, based on the video shouldn't the 4-in lift have the sway bars adjusted 2 in?

@@thorsky2754 If you extend it too far, it hits the lower control arm during flex/travel. You'll have to do a flex test and make sure it's not hitting if you want to set it longer

When you install the new sway bar link, should you lift the vehicle off the ground or install while the vehicle is on the ground?

It depends how much pressure is on the sway bar (and how lifted the truck is). It can be done on the ground. I'd undo the top nut on the ground and lower the sway bar down to put on the new links then raise it back up
