Sure your dad will like it. It looks a good beer and a classic hop combination.

He gave it the thumbs up 😃 It turned out a nice beer and you're right, a classic hop combo worked a treat.

Nice job on that one. I like the late dark grain addition to the mash. Done that a few times successfully and been thinking of going back to it. Graham Wheeler's book seems like a winner...it's on my list to buy. Currently reading Terry Foster's "Brewing Porters & Stouts." The more than 40 recipes alone are well worth the price of the book. Cheers! 🍺🍻

Thanks Skid. It’s out of print now but there’s lots of copies available on eBay (in the UK at least). Thanks for the recommendation on that book, I’ll look out for that. Cheers again 🍻

Thanks mate. I do love a bitter, specially this time of year. I have the Timmy Taylor Boltmaker kit from WHS to go on next which will go in my King Keg for the full cask ale pour. Cheers! 🍻

Thanks mate. Any favourites from that book? I did the Summer Lightening recently, which turned out pretty decent.

Good video , and the beer looks good. Did you specify find crush when you ordered from the malt miller ? Ideal for BIAB.
@G-townbrewer Жыл бұрын
Yes, I get it fine crush and order as I need it so it’s never stored for more than a week like that.

Hi mate, another great video. Your channel has inspired me to move on to BIAB. Can you send me a link for the kettle you use?
@G-townbrewer Жыл бұрын
Thanks mate. The kettle I use is from the Malt Miller and I use it on my gas hob as I have a wok ring (not sure a regular gas ring would be powerful enough). They also do an electric version if you can't brew on a gas hob. www.themaltmiller.co.uk/product/35l-stainless-steel-brew-kettle/?v=79cba1185463
