John Henry Holliday (Halliday) is my great, great Uncle. He was of Scottish heritage and our families all settled in Georgia. My family settled in Tatnall County, in Reidsville. Their original Sir name is Halliday but due to census mistakes it became Holliday. It explains a lot of my character and why I've loved living in the Wild, wild West for 52 years! I agree.when it comes to history, people want the real facks that includes peoples names. If i go to watch a movie with Sean Penn, I expect the real man. Not a AI generated. Thats good for cartoons. But not when it comes to the real person. Why the hell would anyone choose a fake person. History is about accuracy. Not a fake AI. How are we supposed to learn from history if it isn't accurate including peoples names. Justine Bateman was right when she said this is wrong and this isn't what people want. Looks like AI is taking jobs from real people. Narrati😅ng. I want to listen to a human. I live in the real world. Thats what i expect. Real. Not fake.

Doc Holliday was a brave man he did not kill Johnny Ringo as the movie shows as a matter of fact Ringo was shot while he was drunk and passed out and in all probability buckskin Frank Leslie killed him. Billy brackenridge ran into Ringo who was so drunk and helpless he tried to get him to follow him home but Ringo was stubborn. About 1 mi down the trail he ran into buckskin Leslie who admitted he was looking for Ringo. Since Breckenridge knew that Ringo had back buckskin down this earlier in the day he did not tell buckskin that he had ran into Ringo. A few minutes later he heard a single shot. After murdering his live-in girlfriend buckskin told a dog who he got friendly with he came upon a drunk passed out Ringo and took the opportunity to shoot him and cut off some hair for a souvenir. Doc Holliday was 700 mi away and Wyatt Earp was 900 mi away and this has been verified by multiple multiple people. Including people who despised Wyatt and certainly would not lie for him. Johnny Ringo challenge Wyatt Earp to at least two fights and Wyatt Earp declined both times the second time doc Holliday did square up againstRingo but the mayor broke it up in both were arrested for carrying firearms. Ringo said he was going to pull the mayor away and pull anyway but he saw that doc Holliday considered it over since the mayor broke it up and he did not pull. No one knows how a gun fight between Ringo and dunk holiday would have played out but doc Holliday himself believed that Ringo might be the only one capable of killing him and putting him out of his misery rather than dying from tuberculosis. Doc Holliday would drink with Ringo and Ringo said that it's a shame that you are not on our side. Doc said it is a shame but you may be the only one that could help me win a bet he said I bet myself in a bullet would take me out before TB. Ringo said I would be glad to oblige doc and do the same for your friends jerking a thumb toward the Earps. It would be a shame if I killed you because I do like you once again there is no way possible that Wyatt Earp or Don holiday killed Ringo and I believe the account of buckskin Frank Leslie

It’s crazy how the Earp brothers are portrayed as heroes when they confronted Ike and company at the OK coral to disarm them ! It was said that 3 out of the 5 guys on the Clanton side were currently unarmed already ! So this does raise concern as to what the real truth of the situation was ! I do not know the truth , but it seems as Ike and company were outgunned and not prepared for the Earp brothers ! And perhaps we’re ambushed ! In a quick method of settling their issues ! It is well known that the Earps played on both sides of the law ! I would really like a movie or a show perhaps showing the events from the opposite side of the Earp brothers ! Cause it’s possible they aren’t the heros portrayed in media ! I’m not saying they aren’t ! But we cannot know the truth of the situation ! As things can often be obscured by the telling of events ! 💯

Message to Ultimate Exploratino - where did you ever get your information? Doc holiday was no gunfighter at all. John Henry “Doc” Holliday’s reputation as the “deadly dentist” is greatly exaggerated. One account stated he won “more than thirty duels to the death;” another claimed he “killed at least sixteen men.” Holliday biographer Dr. Gary Roberts says Holliday killed only two: Tom McLaury, in the Tombstone, Arizona, street fight in 1881, and Mike Gordon, in Las Vegas, New Mexico, in 1879. Holliday participated in other shooting scrapes, but nobody died.

Do you know why Doc Holliday was the most feared gunman? He had nothing to lose. He was terminally ill with tuberculosis so he had little hope of a long life. The most dangerous man is one that will either die with nothing or die with a chance to make his remaining days better. The only variable is chance. This is a historical parable. Doc Holliday died peacefully in his sanitarium bed but he killed many who had more to live for but drew his enmity for one reason or another. Did Doc Holliday want to kill those people? You can never be 100% sure but perhaps he just wanted to live out his final days being left alone to pursue his own goals of happiness. It seems that there are some that interpret the wish for neutral, personal autonomy as weakness and an invitation for unwelcome pressure and demands. Those that incorrectly judged the motives of Doc Holliday forever lie in the graves that they created for themselves. Let this be a lesson to those who are blessed with privilege that they incorrectly interpret as a resource meant to pursue a will to power and choose to pressure those who only want to live their lives in their own way and to be left alone. Once you push these people into a corner and force them to choose between their deeply-held principles or the freedom to live as they wish, you have created your own bad fate. Consider this, progressive Democrats. Back off, give power back to the people or you will find yourself in a bad situation like those fools who threatened Doc Holliday… a man who had no reason to respect your life because he was living on borrowed time.
