My Dad was a friend of Doc and Merle. My mother's Sister and her ex husband had dinner with the family at thier farm. I was just a kid but sang along with every song at his concerts💜

This song brings the thought of love on your front door step. You can even hear how much fun doc Merle t micheal Coleman and the others are having. That energy can’t be brought back. Lovin doc

Another great version is by Arlo Guthrie, on his album _Together_ with Pete Seeger.

Very cool recording. I’ve been listening to Doc for a while. Somehow this one evaded me until now. I’m glad I found it!

Thanks for channeling through music dear mother dearly departed. If she talks to me I know shes talking to you too. So she sent me to the music to express what I have missed and brought me to an understanding that I don't have rights on love, or some pictures I need to send to the rightful owners. I hope that when I get to this letter I'm able to recall this message from Spirit mom.

I did a research and found three names for the background vocals: Marcia Routh , Lisa Silver and Pebble Daniel. You can find information about each one of them, including solo songs ;-)
