After unveiling and installing Doc Race's new DR700 bottom mount single turbo it is time to drive my BMW 335i for the first time! While this video won't show the kit's full potential it'll at least give you an idea to how it sounds when driving at moderate speeds. Spoiler: It sounds INSANE! @@EXACTLYInstrumentals I said resonator, not a catalytic converter. They're two deferent things. A resonator is basically a straight through design to smooth out sound. A cat's filled with material for emissions, hence they get blown out under heavy pressure.

@@ElT1greVerde I hear ya, but that's not the sound I'm talking about. I have the top mount Doc kit on my car. His wastegate isn't even opening yet because he wasn't making any boost. The real reason his car sounds really raw is because there are no cats, resonators or exhaust pan on it. Like he said, it's a straight pipe. If he likes it loud adding a resonator will clean it up w/o taking away too much of the loudness. I've got the same exhaust, but I went with the pan instead of the straight through design. FYI - I was gonna recirc my dump tubes but I got used to it so I didn't bother:)

First off, thank you for the commentery at the beginning, it helps remind me what's going on, second, the lemans blue on the letters would look sick. Third I had an ACT stage 2 clutch like 17yrs ago in my maxima that ib as spraying in, that clutch was pretty stiff I could only imagine how that one feels!

I can't wait until you have it dialed in and putting even a bigger smile on your face. I also, had a 2005 Mitsubishi EVO8, built by AMSTuning and tuned by the fastest EVO8 & STi and best tuner Big Al of DynoFlash@Pruven Performance 725 awhp and about lost my mind driving for the first time. billet valve cover with dual radium or nuke catch cans (also tap head ports when you get valve cover off, RB low side external pcv, and the VTT oil cap breather (with ball in). Hands down the best setup for N54 pcv (single turbo)

Just a bit of a question: I see the intake is mounted quite high up in the engine bay, would you perhaps consider mounting it lower to avoid engine heat? I think it may go a long way when you’re squeezing every drop of power out of your engine, and your intercooler would probably work better making a lower temp (more dense) air current. Just a question, as I know clearance can be a pain. Great build so far.
