Being in a relationship with a narcissistic person for 8 years and then being married for almost 6 years, I have never had a better insight into everything that has happened. I had been losing my mind, I feel so good knowing and now understanding why things are the way they are

After watching this podcast, I had a significant realization about my past relationship. I now understand that I was involved with someone who exhibited many of the narcissistic traits discussed here. It was a deeply confusing and emotionally draining experience, where I often felt manipulated, undervalued, and constantly questioning my own worth. For a long time, I struggled with depression and overthinking as I tried to make sense of what had happened. It took therapy and medication to help me navigate the overwhelming emotions that followed the end of that relationship. One of the most impactful steps in my healing process was learning to set boundaries and focusing on rebuilding my self-esteem. After watching this podcast, I feel even more clarity and validation about my experience. If anyone else is going through something similar, I want you to know that you’re not alone. It’s a tough journey, but with time, support, and self-compassion, it’s possible to reclaim your peace and move forward. ❤

I stayed with a Narcissist as a fiancé. Now thankfully X he is. It was the most confusing phase of my life bcoz of his lack of empathy , recognising others good will and thinking me as an object he can own completely. The switch was so hurtful that It shocked my emotional system. But Thankfully bcoz I know I am an empathy and can be manipulated .. I kept people in my loop with sharing about his traits. I might forget they won’t. And it helped me come out of it. The wedding got called off and I got saved so did my image. He was hell bent of controlling and when he couldn’t he wanted exploit one quality of me that is not great.

I have gone through phycological depression, stress , medicine treatment, sleep disorder. She always shoutes, force's, blackmail her opinion, threatens of law , never understand or listen. She never remember her any bad word but even single word of us she never forgets and tries to Gaslight relatives, her family as she is victim and only we are torturing her. Staying with narcissist is hell. But now days, meditation, real understanding of npd with your tricks are helping me. Thank you.

Understand and read a lot about NPD is the only way to come out of the addictive love. Else that trauma bond is very difficult to cut off. I have watched many videos but this one is the best and clear solution. Excellent video. There is lack of awareness about NPD and other disorders. Our society justifies such behaviour especially if it is a Man. These covert NPs get please in torturing people. As Mam mentioned the emotional reaction is their fuel, be it positive or negative emotion. NPDs don't understand emotions or empathy. They find it interesting ifvone reacts as they don't know how to react like an empath.

This video explain everything about a narcissist. I have been searching about this topic for a veryyyy long time just to understand how a narcissistic person thinks, as i am dealing with one . He is really good with the outer world but with me ....just a nightmare. Everytime i try to leave , he blames me for his health and bp and what not and threatens me that he will commit suicide and the next thing i know is ..he is just sitting in the other room in a very calm state. He has hit me multiple times and then justifies it by saying ..."its because you said those words and provoked me ...i had to take such step . This is how you stay quite ." He gets angry at things nobody can imagine. In his brain , he thinks everyone wants to harm him in a way or another. He thinks if he is angry ,it other people's job to babysit him , to take care of him like a baby. And you must accept whatever he is saying otherwise he will continue to fight even if it takes you hours. But at the end everyone must agree that he did nothing wrong. These people are the nicest people on planet for their friends, nobody will ever believe that they are like this .

Covert narcissists and empath feels the same And i feel like, 'maybe i am a covert narcissist' or 'am i empath'. I think i fall in between. It's a burden of being a narcissist i try my best to not hurt any good, innocent, angelic person but i have no empathy for toxic or a average, useless, careless person but still be nice around them to secretly destroy them.
@AllDivinity3 ай бұрын
Amazing podcast! Thank you! I would request you to create awareness about empath and NPD amongst the helper (say maids) community as they also need to understand these things and how to cope. It is important to reach these people as they are suffering too at the hands of NPD’s. These people do not have access to therapists especially in India. 🙏🏼 I myself am an empath and a survivor of narcissistic abuse all my life since birth. I have a narc parent and a sibling and then a husband. At a point I thought I must be one coz everyone around me especially my loved ones cannot be one. But thanks to the internet became aware that I resonate with Empaths This happened in my 50’s. That’s half a lifetime gone not knowing how to take care of myself. I want now that more people become aware. But alone I don’t know how. You have a platform please do something for this worker community coz they do watch youtube. On humanitarian grounds please to make this world a better place. These people cannot go for therapy and they do make a good percentage of our country. I live with one and have learnt to cope with but cannot leave as children involved. If I can help in any way I will. I agree no shortcuts its been a hard journey but have risen above all the crap I have been put through. Boundaries was my lesson amongst others 👍🏼 She is absolutely right but we need to empower the worker community in the manner they will understand.
