@@Dark_Mario_Bros. It may be my imagination, but I think Airman also has more horizontal inertia when on the highest part of his jump, so he can fight the opposing gust a bit more than Doc.

In short, I am studying coding, and large language models. I've written code in Java. I am still very amateur. You've told me in the past that this is your own program you don't wish to distribute publicly. Are you working off the source code of Rockman and Mario bros.? I am inspired by you and another programmer to program AI in DOOM to engage in capture the flag. (look up smart marines for doom). One thing I'd like to utilize, is having every unit type involved. Than I can do things like "hell knights vs. Cacodemons". Can you recommend a good place/book/website to learn coding further in this regard?

How come you haven't done anything with the Mega Man 4 bosses?

Taking a wild guess, maybe because they are gimmicky and rely a lot on melee damage (8 melee dmg). Toadman has a nuke and reads inputs (as does Metalman). Skullman will ONLY move through input reading, Diveman is Bubbleman 2.0, Brightman relies 50% of the time on his divebomb (melee), Dustman sucks (sorry). Pharaoh and Drillman are probably the easiest picks as they are more likely to attack with projectiles than to just run trying to deal contact damage and getting themselves killed. Edit: Ringman as well, though he also tries to ram while shooting.
