I've been enjoying your presentations over the last week. You remind me of me when I was your age. I was hungry to learn, and technology was a never-ending adventure. I can see it in your eyes. I also needed to get some sun :) Because you go into so much detail this is not just a container management video, Ive learned a few things about Linux, docker and the yml file explanation was very helpful. BTW it is "instance" not "instant". :) Keep up the great work, but remember, there is so much more to life. It's all about BALANCE. I like to go outdoors and look at the trees, they are much more amazing than technology. It will clear your mind and is good for the soul. Then go back inside and geek out. Thank you for the proxmox and ZFS videos too.

A short way to print the IPv4 network IPs: "ip -4 -brief a". One of the advantages with respect to Portainer is you manage your containers with a file-based model, I mean, all docker compose files are available directly. In Portainer they exist but they are more difficult to be accessed. Very good video. Congratulations!

Not only was this a clear and concise video showing how to install Dockge - you also showed the thinking behind your choices, and that helped my knowledge of Docker and Docker-Compose immeasurably - thank you :)

i like dockge, easy to use, and easy to maintain my compose file, yes it's not simple to see all port that are already used )= but i can live with that nice video

How do you add those “tag names” in the container names?

Awesome tutorial. I expected something about proxmox but instead I got my memories refreshed about docker. I wish this video was available when I wanted to learn docker for the first time some years ago because your explanation of docker compose was clearer than anything I was able to find back in the days. And now I will also switch to dockge from portainer

Thanks for the excellent tutorial. Maybe a tempory solution to the port number issue is to add the port number to the container name?
