This just makes me miss the old version of the Star Wars Fireworks dessert party at Hollywood Studios before Galaxy’s Edge. Unlimited drinks including alcohol, a sweet & savory buffet that had little interactive stations and such, a Chewie souvenir mug, and a separate viewing area for the old Star Wars fireworks that I loved. It was around $75/person but that was 2017-ish.

I had the opportunity to do that one once and I was blown away. It went away not long after so I never got to do it again but would have no question

Very good review! I think they should move to a dessert party/unlimited food model. Even for $10 more, getting all the food and soft drinks you want, plus the souvenir cup, would make this a better value. There's no way I would get the current package.

I think if this had been unlimited food and maybe there was like a miniature Ronto wrap in there somewhere, maybe a storm trooper roaming around, I’d be sold on the value

The food looked interesting. $89 is harsh. Funny that it was you all and like three other guests.😂 I think locals are over this stuff at this price.

One thing to keep in mind about this dining package is the fireworks are subject to cancellation because of weather. So, you may pay $90 and not see the fireworks.

Great review thanks. We love the dessert party for world of color shows- same price - but that show is packed and we get a great table so it’s worth it. I suspected this was not worth it and now we know! 😊

I’ve been thinking about that world of color dessert party too. I didn’t necessarily like any of the food or drinks but that table makes the difference, especially since that door is almost twice the length of this one too. But I think I preferred the food selection at this one. But everything I said in the video still stands. There would be a little more of it and you should get a drink. Like something special for the occasion.

@@DISUnlimited Yes the dessert at the Dessert Party is not great - we buy it for the table and comfort and the hot chocolate is a nice little bonus.

Just did this. It’s all about the company you are with. My Disney friends do not expect the moon and go with the flow… had a great experience. By the way suppose to mix in the cotton candy before drinking… I did grab a reservation at Oga’s for 10pm so we avoided the traffic jam in the hub, which rounded out the galaxy edge experience.

Since you mistook one of the items for hummus I was like why don't they just give you some? It's fun to eat, good nutrition & as a bonus the chick peas/protein would help to balance your blood sugar while you have the sweet drinks & food. So that's my suggestion for them in the future, swap out the sweet cheese for hummus with some fun chips, savory condiments & veggie toppings or dippers & it's a win-win for everyone 😊

Loved the video! I'm not at all impressed with the food part of this experience, but fireworks were a treat. Gotta ask, how would you compare this vs other dessert parties packages? Also, you guys gave off an exhausted vibe. Hope y'all get some rest! 🙃💛

It's OK to have more savory items. Sorry, but not everyone likes goat cheese or humus. Can there be a buffet with multiple options even if it's not unlimited (😢).

I just feel like you should be able to at least ask for more of whatever you liked from the box. Also I feel like the energy was a little low inside while we were eating so they need to pump in the music from Oga’s or something to give it a little zing

Price wise, I'd get more food at a character meal so I'm not sure I'd feel ok paying that much just for a quick service meal that seems to be meh, and fireworks viewing. Where's the Disney touch?

I couldn’t recommend this experience. I didn’t think the food was cohesive or tasty. I’m mad that the cold brew wasn’t explicitly offered. The soda drink was undrinkable. Honestly, the viewing area would’ve been fine anywhere. One and done.

Yeah. I think the company made it for me, but we could have had a wonderful Star Wars night and not spent $90 and still have enjoyed ourselves. Like I appreciate that the food was at least unique to the event, but if the appetizers are the selling point of your party, then I’m not sure it’s a great party. If that makes sense.

@DISUnlimited to be brutally honest with you Mr Clavin, your bosses are trying to sell trips, and you also need to sell these trips, and you don't do a very good job of selling the product. Invest in some classes. Learn how to sell the product.
