I used to rotate an RN twin screw minesweeper through 360° and moved no more than 10 feet fore or aft of the point of moment. No bow thruster in use.

I think I would be laughing as you hit the dock. Wind changes everything. You can’t move that fast. I’ve had both. Without a joystick and with. The joystick is king and will become standard with twin engines or more sooner than you think. Just like cars. Things we didn’t have in the past is now standard equipment. It’s just more money in there pocket.
