No games on the domestic level have been added for ages. It's literally always been two domestic cups and the league. And then a European cup for the top 5/6 sides. Internationally it's more or less the same. The Nations League just replaced friendlies, it didn't "add" anything. So I don't think the issue is the "number" of games per se. It's the intensity of them that's changed over the last 15-20 years. Which is why it's up to the managers to use their full 25 man squads to rotate in all competitions. Obviously they can't play the same players every 2 or 3 days for an entire year and not expect injuries. Sport science is better than ever so they know exactly when players need rest.

It’s on the manager to rotate the players, just deal with the amount of games for how much those players get paid. Did arsenal need to give Saka and Rice the start against Bolton in the Carabao? If they’re that worried about it just allow yourself to get knocked out early.

Why does he never make sure his players have good sharpness because that increases training speed of the players right? I have exactly same career mode but with different signings and my players grow faster than his and finishes season 1 with 41 points so not so mich difference in performance the same

I think the clubs that qualify for Europe should be excluded from the league cup at the very least, because they play too many fixtures. Scrapping it entirely though wouldn’t be a huge deal

EAFC25 is a big step down from 24 Menus are brutally clunky Transfer offers are easily missed because it’s no longer easy to check/see emails Player development is overly complicated and harder to track Youth development has same issues Simulation takes far too long And so far the game play seems way slower and not as fun 👎

From the Central tab, go into Advance Customization and have it stop sim for emails. Easy fix. I found this out the hard way when two of my best youths walked without me even knowing! I actually like most of the player development changes except that most plans don't improve stamina. I'd love the ability to create a custom development plan with any 6 or so areas so you can target exactly whatever you want!

How is the league cup the scapegoat, but playing in Nations league that no body cares for is fine apparently. Like you docks, but that was a load of waffle from you. Absolute waffle. So, because Pep (who has won the League cup 4 in a row by the way) wants to rotate and play academy players, now let's bin the league cup because Rodri and some other players were complaining. Let us now erase a cup while not the most prestigious is still a cup most teams would love to win. Yes, it's not the most important cup of the 4, but to say you want to get rid of it is ridiculous. How about scrap nations league, nobody cares for that. Instead of playing in that, players of all nationality should be rested or in light training but UEFA do not care. I understand actual qualifiers, but UEFA nations league should be the one scrapped NOT the league cup. You're talking from an elitist perspective. For example, who the heck are Palace, Ipswich, Norwich, and so on to turn their nose up on a League Cup. Wigan winning it all those years ago probably still goes down in folklore for them. It vexes me when smaller teams turn their nose up on winning cups. Like you, but vehemently disagree.
