The strategy of becoming the bulk supplier for other Hermits in exchange for a cut of the profits and then extorting them to keep buying from you by buying out their shops and reporting them for being out of stock is almost textbook mafia behavior. You're basically aiming to run a protection racket. Which really fits with the Goatfather persona you've been cultivating this season.

You should definitely have that as a portrait hanging in the poker den. Just like how other hermits are hanging art work in the museum/gallery. You should experiment with a cool frame as well. Maybe blocks but you could also add it to the painting as well.

Expanding on how you said Maces should be Netheriteable, I think all Tools, Weapons, and Armor should be able to be enhanced with Netherite. Additionally I think Netherite things should be immune to explosions and cactus too.

Honestly, I am so glad you're uploading, Doc. I'm not the biggest fan of the Live series, and my schedule rarely allows me to watch any kind of streaming, your 'movies' are basically filling a Hermitcraft-shaped void that's going on. You know what I want to see? A collaborative Redstone build (whatever they wish) by Docm77, Ethoslab, Mumbo Jumbo, Tangotek, Xisumavoid, ImpulseSV, and Cubfan135. Like a season long hand-off project. Where each techy nerd takes a month or 2 to work on it. It would be interesting to see how each hermit would work around eachothers Redstone style.

That’s a lot of hoppers to fill with resources. I think one solution would be to fill 4 of the 5 slots in each hopper with alternating named items. Example, hopper 1 in a hopper chain would have 4 of 5 slots with iron nuggets named “A”, hopper 2 irons nuggets named “B”, hopper 3 iron nuggets named “A”, etc. The alternating names prevents items draining. This would save a ton of resources in the long hopper chains.

DOC! There's a netherite mace mod on Modrinth that just adds netherite to the mace. It is amazing and doesn't push the focus away from vanilla. I hope it helps! Thanks for another amazing great episode.

Absolutely Doc! there should be like an enchantment that makes items stay in your inventory on death. Atleast for the armors, weapons and tools. Like if it breaks it breaks that’s one thing, but losing it to lava, or simply because your lost in the world some where is absolutely rage quit material. It’s why often times when i play i like playing with “keep inventory on” but then i don’t get achievements, which kinda sucks as they can often make you more engaged in playing.

For me, Doc possess the true essence of being a Hermit, why you ask? Because he lives way far out in the outskirts of the world away from annoying neighbors, away from civilization and only comes to the city to simply sell his wares or if he simply wants to buy something for himself or to talk to anyone he haven't seen in a long long time after all it is quite lonely living by yourself in the swamp
