I actually canceled this box to get the MedicBox. Glad I did. I don’t understand why these companies insist I including terrible knives. If you want inexpensive knives for the box get a Higonokami or Morakniv atleast they can do what they are meant to do. Plus I love handing someone a Higonokami when they ask to borrow a knife. They look at it like it’s garbage and then it cuts like a light saber. 😂

The box is super cool no doubt, I used to subscribe to it for about 6 months or so, still use a steel tumbler cup I received in one box, every day. Thing is, life gets in the way of plans, and I don't find the time to build the projects that came with each box. Other boxes you can deploy the gear right away. Now please, don't get me wrong, I've kept everything and will enjoy it to no end when retired, assembling said gear while watching the many survival shows, and when I have a lot more time on my hands!, and will likely resubscribe ( it won't be that far off! hah! ). I just read some of the comments, again, It's a box for the true wilderness survival person, ( think native Indian stuff ), there's not going to be an edc cool wis-bang multitool / knife here or the latest greatest Glock / M-4 clone, part/accessory. It's about the very basic wilderness survival knowledge / techniques and basic gear. The books/ guides, are fantastic!!!. If Boy/Girl Scouts still do this sort of stuff ( earn badges for survival skills ) it would be great for a parent to provide this for them!, Sorry, I may be a dummy, do we still have Boy / Girl Scouts ?

I’m behind. I still need to do my apocabox. That coated Bolbo folding knife came in GearPack. I didn’t really care for it then and I don’t care for it now. - I like the plus item. I was actually considering doing an outside video but it’s 100°. I may still try it though.

I've had my Gerber "Legend" multitool for many years and it's a monster! Removable wire cutting insert bits last through hard use. Mystery steel of course, but takes a nice edge. I don't know how a company who made such a nice tool makes so much overpriced crap!!!

I agree with your assessment of Gerber, their autos are pretty good, but not their fast food items. I remember when Al Mar designed for Gerber and they had outstanding products, I think I still have a Silver Knight somewhere? real deal, not some fake. Anyhoo, keep up the good work, love your product..... Just received the monthly MedicBox, what do you think?

I haven't looked at Medic Box yet because I'm afraid I'd end up making an hour long video. But I've had quite a few people ask abiut it or request to see me do it on the channel. So, I guess I'll have to check. It out. Thanks for watching the vids!

this box is REALLY disappointing. the two knives look like complete junk, the shovel is meh, the light is garbage, the saw is OK but considering its gerber i KNOW FOR A FACT you can find cheaper and at least as good options, and the book is filler crap. the "AX" might be ok depending on how it performs MAYBE. i personally wouldnt use anything from this box except maybe the ax if it works well. it was probably me who said you were getting nicer and softer 🤣😂🤣😂
