Not every love story has to be a romance. He loves her so much that his form reverted to one she would recognize . The TARDIS always takes him where he needs to go, and it took him straight to her. He hasn’t been out of the TARDIS for more than a few minutes before he ran right into her. She could’ve been home sick that night, could’ve gone down any street, but she was there. The universe conspired to get him back to her. If that isn’t the purest, deepest love, what is?

Nope... definitely not! Honestly I think some of the best love stories aren't romantic they're platonic and this is the BEST example I've seen of that. Ten and Donna have always been my favorite duo for this reason. Not only were they so much fun together but because they learned and grew not just about each other but also themselves. Their love story was one of tragedy before the 60th anniversary but now... it's one of hope. I really hope we'll get to see them again at some point.
