I swear I got covid working at a casino in California, 2 months before lockdowns - I also worked with my 2 sisters at the time and they had it too - come 2020 lockdowns it took almost 2 years (about when the lockdowns lifted) for us to get sick again - we were servers/room runners - touching people's plates till we were ultimately laid off during the pandemic - there was backlash towards the casino... They didn't want to pay unemployment for their almost thousands of staff 😊- but that's another story - thing is we had it before we even knew how bad it was- and we all agreed it whooped us more than anything we've ever had in the past- we didn't die obviously .. but we noticed it before it "spread" - stick up on ur shit keep ur eyes open& ears locked- we're probably gonna see a 2.0 coming in the next 3 months

My daughter and I had bird flu 5 years ago, the first day I had a fever that was ridiculous it was 103 and I could barely drive to the after hours I had to lay down once I was there, the next day I was back to normal, the same as my 7 year old at that time so you will live.

@ facts. Flu viruses have segmented genomes and they can share genetics if both viruses infect the same cells effectively creating a “new” virus that has now learned how to transmit human to human. This isn’t far fetched.

Thanks Doc! I am 79 on June 2nd 2025. In 1968/9 The “Hong Kong Bird Flu” hit the USA. I was briefly in to San Francisco, CA, invited to a Graduation at UC Berkeley and dinner at an North Beach Italian restaurant. Was Exposed in The Mens Room to a Toxic Cloud lingering there from a Gent who was carrying this awful Virus and sickened within three hours and for Nine days and nights of high temps and total misery, and I was about 24, a USMC enlistee and phenomenal physical state before this virus hit me. This was the genuine FLU at its maximum level and beyond being hospitalized, which was costly then and out of my ability to pay then, so I suffered in my rented room. At my age today? Not a chance for survival. Was Much worse than Any Covid I heard of during 2020-2.

H5N1 is a big deal right now where we live! My state is now in state of emergency from h5n1 bird flu. Our county is headed toward extreme emergency; volume of chickens and ducks euthanized, has led to egg shortage and rationing. One of my county's infectious disease experts is pleading everyone to stop drinking raw milk and to get latest flu vaccine; warning people they dont want regular influenza at the samevtime also having h5n1. Dairy cows now at enormous raw milk producer all have h5n1, and its passed along to humans, many young children, and they are the 30+ sick now, and rising. The infectious disease expert here is concerned this is headed towards new pandemic.😢
