Props to some officers on this table for recognizing the clones efforts and how unfair this is all turning out for them. Even if that doesn't change a bit the outcome, but It's surprising for me to see a high ranking imperial to even slightly care and spoke up abt that, so there is that at least...

That guy who recognised the clones is admiral Barton Coburn from the Clone Wars who rescued the crew on the Citadel Mission and worked with Commander Wolffe against the Zygerrian salves. He was not shown speaking in the clip but I thought it'd be nice to share that there are still those who believes that clones have been and could still be great

High ranking Imperials used to be low to high ranking Republic Officers. Some of them fully embraced the ideals of the Republic but were smart enough to not paint a target on their backs when the regime changed.

It feels like they're making up for the sequels by rationalizing it because even though they made a split second decision to bring Palpatine back out of pressure to salvage the ratings, I definitely can't see them choosing to revive Palpatine if the Imperial Cloning Project was made in Bad Batch first, where they'd have more time to carefully plan things out step by step and see the next steps instead of jumping several years like they did in the movies.

Somehow Palpatine returned, obviously this is a reference to cloning experiments that allowed the Emperor to return to life, live action and animated series are trying to fix some of the mistakes in the sequels. Look guys, actually I don't mind the sequels, personally I enjoyed them, but that doesn't means I'm not aware of their faults. The real problem in the sequels was that Palpatine's return was never planned and there no clues, references or even intention of Palpatine's return in the first two movies (TFA and TLJ), but the fact is that Legends did Palpatine bring back to life, but as far as I know, was a better structured plot than sequels'.
@beenalive1736 Жыл бұрын
Maybe that's gonna be a side use of what Hemlock's doing. I mean we all thought in Mandalorian that Grogu was used to clone Palpatine but it was all about Gideon. Then in Bad Batch Hemlock talks about an enlightened and submissive society so I think what they're doing with the clones has to do with the removal of free will or something like this. Far more sinister and interesting than just cloning Palpatine.
