It would be interested to see if those surgical hospitals ER departments turn away sick patient or not treat them very well as they would if it was a regular hospital.

Odds are that the absolute overhead expenses for a JV ASC will be comparable to the Physician owned ASC rather than a comparable percentage so the profit will be even higher!!
