I had a L5S1 crushed disc, dutifully did 3 months physio. Finally a scan, surgeon, he was pissed because the physio had damaged it worse. Because we didn't know what was wrong. Surgery 1 week later. Bliss.

I think it's different if theres lots of symptoms or significant pain. That's different than getting scans when it's very minimal pain, like Dr. Mike's example of back pain at a 2, or no symptoms. I had a rheumatologist refuse to test things cause "all women have some autoimmune stuff"... I was there cause of debilitating symptoms but sure let's ignore it cause women just have stuff, it's fine. I found another doctor.

I'm at 57:33 so hopefully at some point Dr. Mike mentions this, but a huge problem those of us in medicine have with the Ozempic craze is the lack of access it has created. Patients who actually need this medicine for their diabetes are unable to obtain it because of the shortages in pharmacies, etc.

Regarding the clogged sewerline, The city/county may be responsible for maintaining the sewer from the curb or sidewalk to any part of the line under the street. Surely the root ball causing the line obstruction will come back, unless the sewerline is replaced or a liner run thru the bad section.

I HAD SIBO from probiotics - even doctors telling me to take them when I have Sjogren's and no amount of probiotics was NOT going to help me - so bad that I ended up pretty dang sick. Then I lost medical insurance so then had to fix myself with what most would consider pseudoscience BUT it worked. I will never be 100% fixed because of the autoimmune issues, but well - someone would have to sneak a probiotic, that's not already in the food I eat, into my system.
