Our kitty Sophie is 16 and is such a sweet girl. We adopted her mom while she was pregnant and were there when she gave birth to her and her siblings. We re-homed her mom and 2 of her siblings but couldn't bear to part with her or her sister Maggie. Maggie died earlier this year and now Sophie is being doted upon with only the softest beds and organic senior cat food. We call her "a distinguished old lady" and she is rightfully spoiled rotten.

Dr. Youn, I love your holistic approach to medicine and that you are such a huge advocate for rescuing furbabies in need. 💗 It is so important to adopt instead of shop for a new furry family member. And you are right, it is so rewarding as well. 💞 I have volunteered at many animal shelters and rescues getting them ready for their forever homes as well as fostering… and adopting as well. It is wonderful to see how a rescue is able to overcome all of their adversities and learn to love and trust humans again.

I still mourn for my cat Hope. She died from stomach cancer. At 6 years of age Its been 3 years. Miss her a lot.

Sadly, the synthol injector died this year on his 55th birthday. His name was Valdir Segato. "Nonetheless, according to local media, he had few friends or visitors by the time he died. He spent an isolated life despite his huge following on social media as a result of his uploaded videos through the years." Honestly, I think he was addicted to the attention it brought him so he continued to inject regardless of the heath implications.

I just don't understand how anyone can just abandon their pets 😢. 2 of mine are seniors d15. C18. I'm not ready for them to be at this life stage. I'm so sorry for your loss Dr. Youn ❤ I lost 3 dogs over 12 yrs ago, 1 dog every year for 3 years in a row. They were with my ex ( we broke up. I was in no position to care for or house 3 90 plus pound dogs) I never got to say goodbye. I still cry over them. I hate when people say it's not like you lost a family member, because I absolutely did. I love your love of rescuing ❤ you're an amazing Dr, and a wonderful human being Dr. Youn 😊

Bless your heart about your little dog. We lost our rescue who was approximately 14 or so on August 17th. It's just not the same around here & its the 1st time in my life I haven't had a pet. He was one of a pack of 3 rescues the other 2 passed away within a few days of each other at 17 years & 4 years. It's so hard. Wish another stray would find his way here as I'm in a rural area now & limited as to what I can handle. Bless rescuers everywhere. 💜🥀

OMG! I've gone addicted to your reaction videos bcoz they're totally informative and entertaining. It's not actually doctors bragging about the 'M.D.' that makes them tools outside hospital, it's the self-centered, self-righteous behavior and detached, self important demeanor. However, Dr. Anthony Youn, M.D., A.S.A.P.S. seems to be an absolute sweetheart and I can't imagine him demeaning a restaurant server or something.

I think rescued animals make the best and most loving pets. I honestly believe they understand what their humans have done and immediately take us into their hearts. We rescued my Kaboo (Maine Coon cat) from the side of the road when he was about a year old. He died at 14 of heart failure -- I would have given him mine for just another year of holding my little love in my arms. I'll miss him until I die.
