Personally I see the end where the therapist says fuck it and tells Dee to do the dishes as the quickest way to insure she never sees any of these people ever again. @armpit_farts73272 жыл бұрын
I gotta disagree, A. She should definitely remain professional and just tell them she is ending treatment with them, if it gets further than you get some higher powers involved(restraining order..etc). But also B. Dee is the only one who hates her at the end. THe gang goes back to people that they DONT like (the lawyer, uncle jack, the Mcpoyles) for help on certain matters, the rest of the gang complimented her for being a good therapist. I think it was the wrong way to go about it.
@NoelleMar Жыл бұрын
I thought that wasn’t the point though-yes she is getting them out of her hair, but it’s not being a “good therapist.” Don’t get me wrong, in terms of safety or whatever I very much understand her reaction lol.

You left the best part out; when Frank revealed that Dennis and Dee were actually originally triplets. "We were going to call him Donny, he would have been the good one. But Dennis and Deandre DEVOURED him." That's why at the end of this when Charlie was choking Dennis and Frank was encouraging him "do it Charlie! Kill him.. Kill him; get him for Donny!"

My therapist is a Vietnam combat veteran, and he told me a story about a guy who was discharged because of Conversion Disorder. He knew a young man who DREAMED of being a fighter pilot. He joined the air force, went through all the training, had hundreds of hours of practice, and not once did he have any problems. He was committed and enthusiastic all the way through. Then the second they put him in a cockpit for an actual mission, he went blind. He couldn't move his eyes, his pupils didn't respond to light. They just stopped working COMPLETELY. And it happened every single time he got in a plane, or the gunner seat. He had to be discharged and sent home from Vietnam because of it. (I think he told me the story because I don't know when I'm anxious either, until it becomes physical. Nothing nearly as extreme, though.) also, hilarious that it took all of 3 lines to diagnose Dennis PERFECTLY.

My friends got mad at me for not talking. Teachers kept asking. Eventually my friends accepted a pattern of me crying and hiding for a bit. Then us going back to normal like nothing happened. I opened up to a therapist about those feelings. They rolled their eyes at me. Yelled at me over those feelings / anxieties. That experience taught me to be careful about any future therapists I meet.
