Sam 'The Legend' Raimi and Elizabeth Olsen saved this movie. It's from above average to good, neither great nor mid. Even if you forget about the rumours and expected cameos, the story was way too simple/average. The focus of characters & their depth (especially, the main character) and the focus on concept of Multiverse were not good & enough. - the most important aspects of this movie (while story and focus on characters & their depth are the most important things in any film) Some biased and typical fans and people who don't know much about real good movies just got orgasms from fights, first-time horror elements and brutality in MCU, Wanda's portrayal, unnecessary one-liners.... and they started calling it great and some idiots calling it a masterpiece and the best MCU movie.

To every DC hater: Tumne kabhi DC ki koi movie dekhi bhi hai ya phir bhed-chaal me usey hate karte ho because doosre bacche karte hai, wo bina logical reasons ke. DC has been better than Marvel in many other things like Comics (it's GOAT in comics), animation, video games, TV shows (but I admit that Daredevil is a masterpiece, the GOAT superhero TV series). In DCEU, out of 12 projects, only 2-3 projects have been bad.... so what's wrong?! (Franchises like MCU and Star Wars also have bad movies). DC ne baaki sabhi franchises (including Marvel) se zyada hi masterpieces diye hai: The Dark Knight, Watchman [Ultimate Cut], The Batman, V for Vendetta, Batman v Superman *[Ultimate Edition]* , Man of Steel, Joker and maybe, a few others. Just because MCU movies zyada paisa kamati hai iska matlab ye nahi ki wo saari better ho gayi baaki sabhi franchises se. Agar sahi me box-office noney se movies ki quality pata chalti to Endgame aur Avatar ab tak world ki sabhi movies se better hai.... yaha tak ki The Godfather, Inception, Raging Bull, Taxi Driver, TDK and Se7en jaisi classic masterpieces se bhi. Ye blind hate chhod do. The best thing about MCU is that it's in hands of Disney. Disney had more money, so, MCU keeps giving too much stuff every year, so it keeps getting more attention. But more attention =/= always better.

I admit that that film felt rushed in first viewing because it had too many different things going on at a time but makers managed them well. Re-watch it with focus vro. ☺
