HI Dr V, I've just come across your channel and I am loving it! So nice to finally have someone who understands skin of colour. You mentioned that you like glycerine as a moisturiser. Is it true that for glycerine to be effective, you need a dew point of between 4 and 16 degrees celcius. I live in Melbourne and our dew point is often outside that range. I've heard that outside the range, it can have the opposite effect and can actually draw moisture out of your skin.

Hi Dr V I’m using the inky list salicylic acid face wash as per your recommendation. I have acne skin when it time of month, when I eat too much sugar and when irritation occurs. I use this with super moisturiser face theory. I do nacinamide 5% in day along with your izincable spf At night I do retinayl 2 nights and alpha abutin every night with same moisturiser as the day. Do I need a liquid exfoliator - if so which one ?

I use both in my routine, I use the Paulas choice 2% BHA for when my skin is breaking out/clogged pores, and I use Lactic acid 10% by TO for when my skin is fine. I can't find a comparable product to the PC BHA though, the cheaper ones all dry out my skin too much and the ordinary one is in oil which I don't like using on my skin. What can you combine benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid and azelaic acid with? Can you combine any of these to tackle acne?

I'm no doctor but you can use adapalene( differin gel) with benzoyl peroxide to control acne. Hope this helps😇

Thanks for making this much needed video!! I started noticing increased hair fall right after 3 days of using the minimalist hair growth actives. Is this normal or is there an issue with this formulation?

Dont use that it’s a gimmick. The only way your hair will grow is if your scalp is hydrated. Oils and serums can dry out the scalp and cause hair fall out. Serums should only be applied to the hair or hair length and avoid the scalp. Same for conditioners. the ONLY thing you should be applying to the scalp is a Shampoo. Look out for isopropyl alcohol as they tend to sneak this ingredient in to “hair growth” hair products. So look for a great hydrating shampoo. Kerastse Soliel shampoo is great and so is Blonde enhance purple toning shampoo by OGX. (This if you have dark hair it makes it this dark rich color if you have blonde it tones and rids the brassiness blonde haired ppl get)
