A few years ago, before the pandemic and lockdowns, my eldest son took me on a birthday trip to Cardiff. We went down early first class train to Cardiff Central. That meant meals included. I had a beautiful full English with incredible views on the way down and a delicious three course dinner on the way back feeling like royalty. I geeked out at Cardiff Bay and took pictures of the Millennium Centre and Ianto’s shrine. We had a boat trip around the bay. I had a wonderful time there. I just wish I could be there during the light show. Cardiff is a really nice place, I definitely would recommend a day out there. Here’s to many more years of Doctor Who! 🥂🍾🎉🪅

Oh God, I miss Cardiff so much! I chose to study English there in the summer of 2013, because of Doctor Who. People thought I was a stupid freak because of this, but I had the best three weeks of my life, I really don't regret a thing. I wish I could have been there this time.

@@richarddennis3793 ta, yep sure have!! An Adventure in Space and Time (original cut of the doco drama) was aired in Australia the night of the 50th Anniversary special, so watched the 50th Live at 5.50am, and the doco drama at 8.45pm...what a day that was!!😀

Nah, the 50th was MASSIVE. Conventions all over, they reunited ALL of the previous Doctors and companions, not a single one was missing not even Tom Baker. They had an entire BBC Proms dedicated to the series. An Adventure in Time and Space was made. The Day of the Doctor premiered simultaneously in theatres all over the world and they were full even in remote places where DW isn't huge like Latin America or Asia. The 50th was another whole experience.

Well, I must say, I wasn't very impressed with that we had the New Who Doctors on there 3 times the Classic Who Doctors on there for about a second each and it was mainly the David Tennant Show. Sorry BBC not impressed with that also the movie was missed with the intros.
