it is October on Kastarion 3 in Boom, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s October for the Doctor & Ruby. people seem to be forgetting the TARDIS is a time machine all of a sudden.

Moffat did actually somewhat write for Jodie with “terror of the umpty ums” but it’s not a canon story

I'll jump in with the October thing, because that's how I first thought. Another time jump, BUT, someone set the record straight - October 5th is the date on Vater's "urn". So it's October 5th the day they travelled to, NOT the date in Ruby's timeline.

I think the Trickster may be the One Who Waits. The Patheon has been referenced several times. Trickster is the leader of the Pantheon of Discord🤔

I’m so shocked at how many people got confused by Ruby‘s age. They made a point to say they were 3000 years (or whatever- I think they were even more exact than that) in the future… The machine was reading her DNA and blood and looking up information about her- then it got her birthday, however it does that, from old records I guess- so… if she’s alive 3000 years in the future, and the machine is AI… Not a sentient human being that can reason… Or that can consider that she traveled through time … it’s going to say that she’s 3000 and change years old… I don’t get what’s so confusing about that lol… It was simply adding her actual age to how many years they went into the future, as if she had lived through all those years and not appeared suddenly in that year… That’s why they look at her like “huh?!” Because the average person doesn’t know time travel exists, even in the distant future. Apparently. Another thing that I’m really confused by… Everyone on Twitter is getting all caught up at her next of kin being her adoptive mother… saying that it makes no sense that the machine wouldn’t say her adoptive mother… But I took it that it was testing her DNA… And looking for any blood relatives… And that’s why no one was coming up… I thought it was a clue that she somehow doesn’t have any ancestors and just appeared lol like the timeless child… But hopefully not the timeless child lol So… I guessed that it was such an advanced machine that that’s very uncommon to not have results for anyone. Because it’s all knowing and so, via blood, would always be able to link you to AT LEAST your parents, children, or some nieces and nephews or something (however great great great lol). Hence it being able to find the blood-kin of anyone and spazzing out when it couldn’t… I guess I could’ve been wrong… but that’s how I interpreted it before having a moment to think about it, on first watch, and I was genuinely surprised when I saw people saying that it was a “mistake” or “mess up” that her adoptive mother wasn’t being shown as her next of kin… I agree it’s not the best choice of words but what are they gonna put? “closest, DNA-confirmed, blood relative”? 😂 I think it was pretty obvious that it was showing blood relations. I thought it was giving a clue that she has never had any. Great podcast guys. I can’t wait to see this weeks episode… Supposedly it’s the Dr light episode and some of the early reviews have been saying it’s great… So that’s awesome.. and hopefully we’ll find out some more (good!) Ruby lore, too!

What if the woman in 73 YARDS is Ruby Sunday from the future. She looses the doctor by breaking the charm and spends the rest of her years trying to uncover the truth behind Roger Ap Gwilliam and his connection to the doctor’s disappearance. By the end she’s old and restless, and she is splintered across time. Shadowing her past self to seal her fate and get the doctor back. Always restricted to a distance of 73 yards to stop her from interfering.

My prediction for this episode is thatn it will take place over 6 months and will explain the 6 month gap in the Devil's Chord which was orriginally intended to be later in the series but was moved up

The Hybrid is Clara and the Doctor. By the end of Series 9 the Doctor would do anything for Clara. He would spend billions of years trapped in a turture chamber just to get back to her. He would kill one of his own to protect her and he would risk the destruction of time and space to keep her alive. The only way the Hybrid can be stopped is if the Doctor forgets Clara. Hell Bent is a lot better when you keep that in mind but I don't think it does a good job conveying that information to the general audience. One thing that's always annoyed me about the story arc is that Missy is integral for them even being together. (She is the woman in the shop who gave Clara the Doctor's number in the Bells of Saint John), however Missy never even addresses the arc in any way.

we had the same game as 44 Homes here in the UK, but we called it either Fly or Manhunt.

We just called it Hide and Seek in the US.

@@marshsundeen we have hide and seek, too. this game is slightly different though in my opinion. hide and seek is just about hiding in (usually) one spot until you are found, and tends to be indoors. fly/manhunt tends to be outdoors, usually taking place in a whole town/village, and consists of avoiding the seeker and making it to the point which they were counting at. there’s also an element of tag in there, as the seeker usually has to try and tag the people hiding before they make it to the counting location. i could see some people still calling this hide and seek tho, just with slightly different rules.

Americans call each year of a show, a season. No matter what you say in the UK, Blink is Season 3 Episode 10. Disney got to determine that, so people do not feel they have years to catch up.
