“Oh you were interested in this mystery we set up this whole season? Well that was silly of you.” -RTD Fans: “Why did anyone want you to come back again?”

I totally get feeling this way about it, especially given that there were some misdirects that suggested there had to be a much more "fantastic" answer than what it turned out to be. It more or less worked for me, personally, because I like the thinking behind it and there's a part of me that just appreciates the ride of watching and wondering from week to week--because I sort of already know there's most likely no possible resolution that will satisfy.

The youtube algorithm really hasn't been recommending me enough doctor who stuff lately. I'm glad I got this because this is a great vid

I know I am an outlier, but RTD and Tennant coming back is actually why I’ve stopped watching and I will not be coming back until RTD leaves (sorry Ncuti). I hated the Chibnall era but at least it was so absurdly bad I had fun (tho I maintain Sacha Dhawan was a great Master it only sucks he was so close on the heels of Michelle Gomez’ absolutely flawless portrayal). And before the 60th specials I would have told you I loved David Tennant and his era with RTD, but as soon as Jodi regenerated into him I clocked out. I’m not looking for a rehash of the good old days I WANT SOMETHING NEW. This a problem in media beyond Doctor Who. The same set of geriatric creators will not fucking retire and the networks will not bring in new talent so we are awash in remakes and sequels all trying to capture the glory days of franchise long dead. Let the RTD era die and just try something new

Hard to argue with that, I totally understand that perspective and am not unsympathetic to it.
