I agree with what others said that these guys look nothing like The Beatles and one thing of note although John was blind as a bat without his glasses pictures of him wearing them prior to 1967 are somewhat rare. For the most part he would just go without them in public and in fact him and his first wife Cynthia used to argue about which one would wear their glasses before going into a club as they both couldn't see without them and both didn't like wearing them and they figured one pair of eyes between them was better then nothing at all! Anyways prior to 1967 John wore black horned rim Buddy Holly glasses mostly in the studio and not in public.

You figure the DW team could put some effort in getting actor with a bit of a likeness. Or at least get some dark contacts for Paul. I thought Ncuti was talking to John. That’s how poorly they cast by voice and look. Absolutely nothing like Paul. Someone lost a bet or is owed a favor or getting blackmailed. Really poor.

Exactly! The worst thing is they either know the actors were a shit choice and that's why they gave John his iconic glasses way to early (he started wearing them in 1967), or they didn't know/care. I can't decide which is worse. Especially when it's British pride (if that even exists anymore).

I think tMaybe they didn't want them to look like caricatures, but some contacts (or a prosthetic of Lennon's big old nose) definitely would've helped sell it. Hell, they could've cast lookalikes and then used ADR to dub them with soundalikes.

Apart from the poor Beatles replicas (the hair looked like they put a salad bowl over their heads and cut off everything below the rim) the plot was at the level of a Saturday morning cartoon. "I, evil Gargamil, will steal Music! What's that? Oh no! They're defeating me by singing!" Just. So. Awful.

Well, I see I wasn't the only one disappointed in this... From the Beatles you ordered off Wish, to, what my daughter called "this Scooby-Doo bullsh*t" (SPX were particularly cartoonish - and not in a good way), the paper-thin plotline, Jinx getting on the one shredded nerve I had left (I know people adored them but meh - there is only so much gurning and screaming I can stand) and that song and dance abomination at the end that should **never be shown again** - this whole thing was a Saturday morning cartoon fever dream mess. Pity. I was really looking forward to this.
