I really enjoyed the episode 😊 Was it the best Christmas special no there are better ones but it was what a Christmas special should be. Fun, cheesy, sad, whimsical, thought provoking in places and totally and utterly Stephen Moffat 😂 It was a special for ALL ages and I would be happy to rewatch it when I do my rerun sessions. I loved Anita and Trev and I did like Joy although I will agree her character wasn't utilised as much as the trailers suggested. The Bethlehem written on screen didn't bother me I actually thought it was funny 🫣 My verdict was 8/10 but I didn't really go in with particular expectations so maybe that helped.

Thank you for sharing. I think I geared myself up for something different, so maybe that's why I was left with mixed feelings. But your analysis is spot on 😁👍

Great review as always 😊 I really enjoyed this special, loved the humour, the hotel and the characters - especially Trev lol. I'll admit there was a moment when the Doctor was explaining about the time loop that I didn't know what the french he meant, but got it in the end 😂 The ending was done beautifully imho. Looking forward to the next series ❤

As Christmas specials go, I thought it was surprisingly good. Probably Moffat's best besides A Christmas Carol and Last Christmas.

Thank you for your comment. I'm glad you enjoyed this Christmas Special. I watched A Christmas Carol the other day, forgotten how good that episode was 😁👍

I agree. This was a standout/highlight for Ncuti Gatwa's era so far. Really hope there's more to come from him in Season Two as he is so capable of doing much more 😁👍

I stopped watching New Who around the time of Matt Smith's stupid "Fish Custard." ... Although, I've been recording it ever since in High Definition, just in case I want to watch Dozey Whittaker, or Shooty Gateaux ... Which is unlikely! 📺👎🤣 Joyeux Noël Et Bonne Année MMXXV EDIT: Pre-ordered some PROPER Who on Boxing Day ... Season 07 ... When Daleks were Daleks, and kids were scared! ... Okay, so no actual Daleks in Season 07, but you catch my drift?

Thank you for your comment. I would recommend going back and taking a look. Especially the Matt Smith era. Yes not all the episodes were bangers but Matt was always on top form. The Peter Capaldi and Jodie Whittaker eras are not the strongest (in case of Peter's not my particular favourite) but again there were some brilliantly written and well made episodes to feast on. I'm curious, does this mean you did not watch the 50th Anniversary Special The Day Of The Doctor? 👍

@TimeyWimeyReview If I did, I've forgotten it. I don't think I did. I remember "Day Of The Daleks" in 1972! I can remember Who from 50 years ago, but New Who is instantly forgettable. I seem to remember something about a Dalek "not storing stuff" on New Year's Eve? Was that Dozey Whittaker? I have very little enthusiasm or interest in New Who. One of the crappest lines in the entire history of Doctor Who, was David I-Love-Myself Tennant, "Water always wins!"

DR WHO has lost its way totally with woke PC brigade doctors since Matt smith
