The dastardly Daleks….brilliant. Remember this so well, I was 9 years old and about to turn 10 the day after the second episode. And my present Day of the Daleks on VHS 😀. Happy times!!

I was 18 when this was first broadcast. It felt like the Seventh Doctor had finally landed. Wonderful stuff. Great to see those early VHS releases being advertised too! Nowadays, the BBC doesn't do the "And viewers might like to know ..." ads following the latest episode, which is a shame.

@@Mr.DWHO96 I'm wondering if someone's clamped down on them promoting their own wares. They don't even plug their own listings magazine Radio Times. At one time they were very proud to boast about it.

@@TheWillHadcroft I swear someone told me that the BBC dont own the Radio Times anymore. That they went independent but I have no idea.
