This episode is brilliant and I do believe that Matt Smith, Michael Sheen and Suranne Jones make the episode very enjoyable and this episode is always more fun every time I watch it. Eleven’s dark outbursts are fun to watch and I will savour this reaction until we can get to the next one. Let Time Travel commence.

Fun fact about the title: in the 1980s, producer John Nathan-Turner suspected there was a leak in the office, and so wrote this exact title on the whiteboard to see if the press would report it. Kind of funny that it's been used for real in the modern series - and true to precedent was used in a wonderfully misleading way

Just be glad that the last reaction before another lockdown was not the first part of a two parter or ended with some sort of cliffhanger. The fact that this is pretty much a standalone episode, with little to no reference to the arcs of the series really helps. Either way, this was great reaction! It's a shame we've came to this point again, but let's that like last time we can get through. Hopefully, the lockdown doesn't last as long this time and you get to each other again soon. If not, oh well, we'll just have to be brave. :,)

Cheers to writer Neil Gaiman who also wrote “American Gods”, “Good Omens”, “The Graveyard Book”, “Coraline” and “The Sandman” comics. This episode a personal favorite of mine and has such a Gaiman style of fantasy and horror. He does it well. Gaiman since his childhood has been a huge Doctor Who fan and stated so in a wonderful interview with Craig Ferguson, “I’ve always loved mythology and Doctor Who was my first mythology.” Even his wife singer Amanda Palmer is a huge fan. There’s this nice video of the two of them performing in New York and they invite a “special guest” to join them on stage, who was also in NY performing in a play. The song was written by a young girl (Allegra Rosenberg) who was inspired by “The Doctor’s Wife”, and really is pretty good. Neil Gaiman originally wrote this story for Series 5 but there was alot of work on it and they had to pull it back for Series 6. Gaiman basically wrote a high budget script that was way too long because he got so into the story. That's why there's no references to eyepatch lady or the Doctor's death.

This is one of my favorite episode of 11th era, I just love it, fun, unexpected, scary and so emotional by the end of it! The Tardis as a woman is just so good! Their last scene when he doesn't want her to go is just so sad... House is a really scary villain, the way he emotionally tortures Amy is just horrific... Most reactors and viewers seem to miss the significance when she tells the doctor that her name is "Sexy".. it's funny, but it is also a call back to Eleven's first episode, "The Eleventh hour". At the end of the episode, when the Tardis is finished regenerating, and the Doctor gets a first look inside, he says "Oh, you sexy thing!" .. it seems as though the Tardis heard that!
