you have to remember that Dr who was originally a program for kids. so every now and then they do an episode that caters for the younger viewer as all good family programs do. It brings along the next generation of whovians. sometime when reviewing you have to put a different hat on.

I remember being upset when this episode first aired. Not because it wasn't fun, but because it interrupted the storyline I was fully invested in. I came to appreciate the breadcrumbs on subsequent viewings.

@@MACGamer100 thanks for the comment! We simply schedule the shows we are going to watch. It is hard to watch other stuff outside of that and if it is not a piece of content we will use for a reaction, but since we both love media, we do. It is harder for things outside your comfort zone but luckily we remember that we have to stretch ourselves to expand our horizons. We just want to make quality content that hopefully someone besides us will enjoy!

When I watched this episode for the the first time, upon seeing Lee Ross playing the Boatswain (and not being THAT nice but I get why that was) I got excited cause for me he will always be 'Kenny' a character created by Steven Moffat 35 years ago! Kenny-I’m-so-nice,-I-get-socks-for-Christmas-and-I-LIKE-it!: "In fact, I am so sweet and loveable, cuddly toys just sneer at me." (That's Moffat signature all over these quotes, right) Also I did like the curse of the black spot overal cause I watched it with my kids back then, and I assure you, it's a whole different view from their perspective and ever so worth to experience that.

Rory with 11 (best Doctor) Amy and the incomparable River are the dream team! but it's Moffat that modelled this run after a fairytale, hence the intro, everyone bitches about him but he's a freak, you just have to watch Sherlock to know that.

Not one of the best episodes. Only notable things are that Lord Grantham is in this, that spectre is the across that inspired the design of Merida on that Disney movie Brave and that this is the second episode.....

@@Harry_SS Yes it is the 3rd episode chronologically. But that's not what I meant. I have watched from series 1 to series 10 completely at least 8 times. It is very true with Doctor Who that the more times you watch, the more things you see. And I will leave it there. I will also inform you that the next episodes, should the be released on KZbin, I will continue to countdown until the right episode comes. Its a small detail that carries some meaning.
