I said it a few times in the chat, but C'Rizz was intentionally meant to be a static character and was an exercise in exploring a companion that "doesn't work as a companion." He was never utilized "properly" because he can't be without breaking the point of the character, and the only thing you can do with him is write him out.

Northern Irish here and it's small things but this is the first time the place has turned up in Who (to my knowledge), they set it in our fave national landmark and then they get the name wrong in the title (we never omit THE in front of The Giants Causeway), then they use southern accents for the locals and THEN they have the Doctor be casually racist about the celts. Like, what the fuck.

Northern Irish also, actually? That’s both hilarious and very sad

@@timeandrelativedimen Indeed. At best laziness and not giving a fuck, at worse, much worse.

Such a disappointment, but hey…always the way with any drama NI based

@@timeandrelativedimen What makes it even worse is that this is Who's first foray into the country (I think).

Yeah, I can’t think of anything specifically Northern Irish…precursor to Timeless Child had that whole Irish segment but that doesn’t count right? I think they just wanted to use a funky landmark but this could’ve so easily been set anywhere celtic based, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall etc
