I liked the scene where the Dalek is seen begging for help as it cries out "To-tal-ly Im-mo-bil-ized!" as the Mechanoid applies a "one-arm Bear Hug" and rubs it in by yelling "Trapped! Trapped!" I was hoping the Mechanoid would have continued subjugating that particular Dalek by using its flaming cutting disc to remove the Dalek's ray gun and plunger arms as it yelled "Am pu-ta-ted! Am-pu-ta-ted!"

I have to think that the reason the Mechanoids are so large is because they store a lot of tools in their bodies and that when they are deployed, they open up to reveal many mechnical arms with both digits and tools on the end, otherwise I have no idea how they could've built anything. I do enjoy Vicki and the Dr mimicking them.

It was written by James Goss and starred Nicholas Briggs, Joe Sugg, Anjli Mohindra, and Ayesha Antoine. It was produced by Studio Liddell.

Both names are used in offical material, Mechonoids is the orignal spelling while Mechanoids is the current spelling. Like for example in the Daleks mini series and recent river song audio it's Mechanoids while in the old comics it's Mechonoids. Edit: Actually not even, even in old comics it's Mechanoid.
