I will never, NEVER get over David's portrayal of the Doctor. I remmeber bawling my eyes out when Ten regenerated. I kept up with the show and then I got one of my friends to watch it (she had only seen a couple of episodes). We watched "The End of Time" together in a café and by the end of the episode, we were both crying. Me, who knew what would happen but noticed some details which I had forgotten, and my friend, who's not big on displays of emotion, especially not in public. And our tastes are usually quite different, but we agree that there was something about David as Ten, something the show lost after he regenerated.

I love David Tennant. One of my favorites. But I absolutely hate comments like these. It's like you think he's some sort of God. Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi have some great personalities, companions, and episodes, The End Of Time (Tennant) Vincent And The Doctor (Smith) and Heaven Sent (Capaldi). It's only when the show got Chris Chibnall that it turned to crap. The writing can break even the greatest actors/actresses

Really, his ending destroyed me. And it was so well-prepared too, mentioned a few episodes in advance and you could really see it bothering him more and more.
