I just realised that the reason why they were growing while chasing The Doctor and Donna was because.... Remember, they have no concept of things like shape, size, relatively, space and time. So when our MC's were running away, they assumed they were getting smaller, so they decided to grow bigger while chasing them.

I recommend the Silence In The Library two-parter. It shows a lot of the Doctor's morals very well, and it is the amazing introduction of River Song, a vitally important character for multiple doctors, so they'll know who she is in later appearances they may watch in future videos. (She does appear in a lot of major episodes, after all.)

An amazing and clever plot, fantastic villain (also a returning classic villain which is great) who was acted incredibly, very high stakes, real historical character who adds to the plot, both Doctor and companion acted incredibly, a regeneration (regeneration episodes are always great), UNIT, lots of action but not just for the sake of it. Great balance of humour and tension/emotions etc. It's hard to explain but it was just an incredible episode. Textbook RTD 1 era classic. It felt like I was watching Series 4 again.

That’s how I first experienced River Song’s introduction! A local channel played the episodes (old but in order) and we missed part two. Freaked me out as a kid & not knowing how it ended gave me nightmares!! So good once it was on Netflix and I got to watch both parts

I think that the Doctor intentionally grabbed the one he felt was the wrong Donna in order to be 100% sure. He had to get the wrong one so there'd still be even the slightest bit of difference before the copy became perfect.

Catherine and David has such fantastic chemistry together - beyond Doctor Who I also recommend watching them in Much Ado About Nothing where they play bickering lovers. But while Ten and Donna where amazing, I think I actually prefer 14 and Donna, because the Doctor has been through so much since series 4, it has allowed them to finally be more open emotionally. The 60th specials really felt like a fitting cap of the story of New Who and a reset of the show.

Knew this would be a crazy one, since you had to catch them up on the whole Flux/Timeless Child stuff. With the remaining 3 Doctors, I'm a bit mixed on the wheel picks. Surely if you're going to pick a Doctor's first episode, than 'Rose' should be Eccleston's episode. Although I would love if you did 'The Empty Child' and 'The Doctor Dances', which is an S tier 2 parter. Then for Smith maybe a solid one off like 'The God Complex' or 'Vincent and the Doctor'. As for Capaldi, 'The Pilot' is really good. But I do enjoy his more unhinged side in his earlier series: 'Into the Dalek', 'Listen', or my personal favourite 'Flatline'.

So... what Fay said at the end where David Tennant is the same actor, playing 10th and 14th... is kinda makes me why I kinda... not fond of this incarnation, in a sense. Don't get me wrong, he is brilliant. It just that... 14th is basically someone after 11th, 12th, and 13th... I feel like 14th should implement certain personality at least... not just remembering that he is a woman before, or even coming out in a sense... I don't know... like maybe he should have said "Geronimo" when entering Shaun's cab, instead of Allons-y. Mayvbe he should remember what he did to Clara as in try to wiping her memories, while he had done this before with Donna... throught out the 3 anniversary episode, the 14th Doctor reminding himself... as the 10th incarnation instead... with "I know this teeth", "Allons-y", etc... But hey, that just me... Nonetheless.. this episode is brilliant by itself, and him... choosing the wrong Donna, makes this episode get you shocked on the edge of your seat, especially for both Fay and Pizza, who doesn't even get the whole experience and immersed of Series 4's Donna, and that just show how good their chemistry were to each other, and as just The Doctor and his respective companions, but as best friends, along the way~

Concerning the remembering, they do And if you listen closely, Clara's theme is heard in Wild Blue Yonder. She's also mentioned in the script of the episode (which is worth reading if you get a chance) And the Doctor snapped when the Toymaker mentions their past companions passing away and the Flux because they remember it all to well.

I really was harsh on the 60th specials trilogy....actually as a trilogy they're pretty peak ....Wild Blue Yonder actually slaps! Like not only is it genuinely well written and acted it's gorgeously terrifying and in one hour sums up the show in one hour ....genuinely it's bizarre how these three episodes look and feel more filmic than the episodes that followed in gatwaa era imo ....WBY is a beauty and deserved baftas 💙💙

Honestly, I think any River Song episodes should be held off until they see her introduction in "Silence In The Library." What happens in that episode changes a lot about the way she's viewed throughout the series, after all. That's just my opinion, though.

Episodes for each Doctor that could be good for the wheel. The End of the World is a good introduction for the Doctor’s trauma from the Time War. Waters of Mars is another great 10th Doctor episode The God Complex is my favourite 11th Doctor episode Smile would be a good introduction to the 12th Doctor The Woman Who Fell To Earth is a pretty good introduction to the 13th Doctor though it does end with a cliffhanger.

They've seen plenty of RTD episodes and at least one Moffat, but despite seeing an episode of 13 they haven't actually seen a Chibnall episode yet! Might be interesting to do one of his episodes even if they're not all-time classics, like Dinosaurs on a Spaceship or something, just to complete the trio of showrunners maybe? lol (And 12 is my favorite doctor so I have to jump in and suggest Mummy or Flatline, maybe Oxygen as a few of my favorite one-offs of his!) I really love this series by the way, it's so much fun seeing a "jump-around" random watch order perspective and everyone is so insightful with their commentary! :)

Okay, so hear me out. I know 13s era wasnt great in the writing department sometimes, but I feel we should at least get an idea of how people fairly new to Who would react. Whether they would point at writing stuff or would enjoy it. I feel the best of 13s era would be Village of the Angels, Power of the Doctor, Rosa, Woman Who Fell to Earth, Fugitive of the Judoon, Spyfall Part 1/2, Haunting of Villa Diodati (dare I say Ascension of the Cybermen and The Timeless Children?). I know they all have some problems, but im genuinely fascinated how people going into this era cold would react to any one of these episodes.

So, "spoilers" becomes a thing during the time of the 11th Doctor, a fellow time traveller, when ever they run into each other, it's in the wrong order, so they have to compare notes & when ever she's aware of something in the Doctor's future & he asks her about it, her reply is "spoilers". Given that you've done Blink, there's an 11th Doctor episode that would be good, but it's a 2 parter, so dunno if it's part of the format that you would watch ("The Time of Angels" & "Flesh and Stone") :) . How does the TARDIS travel, it dematerialises from one location in time & space & rematerialises in another location in time & space, so it can materialise inside an object (a bit like teleporting, kind of). - A good 10th Doctor/Donna episode to maybe try would be "The Unicorn and the Wasp".- Wilf (Bernard Cribbins) is The GOAT! We were so lucky he was well enough to film these episodes before he passed, a shame he probably didn't get to see the final episodes. - Possibly ironically, a summary of the 14th Doctors trauma appears in the next episode, the Giggle, it even has puppets! (a vote for the next 14th Doctor ep to be The Giggle).

I definitely think you should add some classics to the list but maybe just one thing per doctor at most. 8 TV Movie 7 Survival 6 Vengeance on Varos 5 Earthshock 4 City of Death 3 Spearhead form Space 2 The Mind Robber 1 The very first episode seems good choice but accessing it is hard now. There is the colourised Daleks. I think you should just add the TV movie and Survival first. I think Ace is a great companion to show people new to classic who, I limited the stories to 4 parters at most since I think that's best since a 6 parter is a lot to watch.

I'm pretty sure that Donna never knew the Doctor's trauma. Getting comforted through your trauma is nice. Experiencing comfort over a specific traumatic by your friend who wouldn't know that information about you... Yeah that would piss me off quite a fair bit. I mean Basically its using my personal pain against me while looking like my friend who 1 wouldn't do that to me cause friends dont do that 2 wouldn't do that to me cause she doesn't know enough about me
