Doctor Who: The Series 10 Recreated Soundtrack

As of this video being uploaded, the Series 10 Soundtrack of Doctor Who has still not been confirmed or announced for an official release and so I set the task of spending the past year working on a Series 10 suite of music from all episodes of Series 10, so fans of Murray Gold's score can listen to cleaner versions of memorable pieces of music from across the Series . This includes music from the following episodes:
-The Return Of Doctor Mysterio
-The Pilot
-Smile
-Oxygen
-Extremis
-The Pyramid At The End Of The World
-Lie Of The Land
-Empress Of Mars
-The Eaters Of Light
-World Enough And Time
-The Doctor Falls
-Twice Upon A Time
NOTE: No music is presented for Knock, Knock as I feel that episodes score was simply an atmospheric bed of music and nothing stood out.
Major congratulations to Murray Gold for 10 Series of incredible, emotional music that has helped bring Doctor Who back into popularity. This series really showed Murray experimenting with samples and techniques for a more classic series sound. Fan favourites like Bill's Theme & Where There's Tears, There's Hope (which are included in this compliation) really showed how Murray could flip the genre of music and capture the emotion in any scene on screen.
I hope you all enjoy this compilation of music from Series 10, lets all keep our fingers crossed for an official soundtrack release in the near future and wish Murray every success for his future projects.

The 54:00 mark is EVERYTHING! This rendition of "A Good Man" is so damn epic. So fitting for this version of the Doctor which, IMO, was an amazing character arc. I wish they would've played this rendition and timed right at the beginning of his regeneration. For me anyway, would've been just that bit more emotional.

I absolutely agree. Bill was a breath of fresh air, a weird companion like Nardol added a lot, the return of Missy with a very new take on the character, a fully matured 12th doctor, and a fantastic finale made the season amazing. Definitely put it as my favorite though Series 4 is right up there with it!

@@IanIsSwag It's all quite complicated. The BBC/Silva Screen Records (basically the people that distribute the music) have stated in an article that there's no update. Murray is the one who will have to get the ball rolling, but I doubt that'll happen since he's moved on from it.

DW: 38:41 From here on in I’m completely invested. “The World Enough & Time/The Doctor Falls/Twice Upon A Time” are without doubt Capaldi’s best stories for me. Bill, Nardole & Missy his best companions, & even the appearance of Simm’s Master (who I was never a fan of) didn’t detract from the finale. The music was top notch Gold, & the story was edge of the seat stuff giving the cast their best lines & meat to work with. The supporting cast were exceptional too especially Samantha Spiro. So back to this epic “10 Suite” which is so beautifully put together from start to finish but this last section is without doubt my favourite. Thanks for giving fans of the music (well Murray Gold’s music) what we’ve waited years for. Excellent work.

2022. Here we are, returning once more to this awesome version. This series was my favorite with Capaldi and I love Bill's character too. The music was awesome and the final episodes are just so emotional.... I'm gonna rewatch and I will cry again... I know. I hope someday they released the official soundtrack, I hope... Read somewhere that Murray had originally said there was 'not enough' new material to justify a soundtrack release. These 55mins are INCREDIBLE. It's funny, cos arguably, Segun (who's great too) releases too much (loads of atmos), and Murray releases too little (IE: THE S10 SOUNDTRACK!)

I think it's straight bullshit and highly disrepectful of the BBC to have not released the Series 10 soundtrack yet but realease Series 11 immediately after the series was over. It just plays into my theory that they wanted Capaldi out and was so over and done with his Doctor. Hell, it took them forever to release S9 soundrack. @PikaCinema If I recall correctly Murray has been busy raising a child which is why the last two soundtracks from him came late. I don't doubt for a second he will release series 10, it might just take a while. Though I do agree the BBC should tell him to at least get a move on.

I will say that your theory could be right about the BBC wanting Capaldi out. The BBC does now have like anti-white people policy now, hence why the company has these massive diversity standards, which are flat out racist. Of course, no one will ever call it like it is. I do believe that this could have something to with the BBC not releasing a Series 10 soundtrack because it would be promoting a white male and they don't want that right now. I know that Gold has been helping raise a kid, but he seriously could not spend 2-3 days a week in a studio or office somewhere to get that soundtrack ready and out to the public. It is his last one and people are clamoring for it.
