There's something so epic to me about seeing the old title sequences combined with the modern theme. 1:20 goes hard

I remember the symphonic orchestra Doctor Who concert with Peter Davison, it was a defining moment of my childhood and a day I will never forget. With Murray's return I hope they bring these back so I can experience this one more time

One thing that should be noted is that Deliah Derbyshire didn't use musical instruments to realize the Doctor Who theme. Her realization is the only tv theme to not use musical instruments.

Wow what? I remember seeing the first Dr Who episode in 1963. As an 11 year old it was truly awesome. That theme tune really grabbed me.

I was at the last one of these in Glasgow. I was so happy that they had included the Eighth Dr in the sequence. It made me feel like he was finally part of the cannon.

The original “Symphonic Spectacular” was the Australian response to/version of the BBC Proms 50 years celebration of “Doctor Who”, then it went on world tour - I saw it in the UK about 7-8 years ago. So you never know, it might get restaged in Australia some day…..

I remember going to see this when it was in Perth! It was soooo good!!! If this was RAC Arena i was there!

1:54 i just realised, they skipped out the storm title sequence, why?

My guess is they were just doing one title sequence per Doctor. They merged Pertwee's and Baker's, and Davison and C. Baker's.

For some reason they used Pertwee's second intro and not Tom Bakers first intro
