I love traditional homes...two story homes that were built in the late 60’s to the mid 80’s. They scream family home to me and that is totally my comfort zone. This home is perfect for Granite Falls! Thank you for sharing your talent with us!

I have a love/hate relationship with multi level homes. Aesthetically, I like the look of a two or three story build, but for gameplay it's so much easier to have a single level. Chasing down sims is hard enough without having to shuffle floors 😂

I adore this. I totally agree with you about of story houses being better. I hate having to search multiple floors. I rarely do basements. If so it's usually just for a laundry.

Happy belated birthday! Personally, I don’t mind houses that are 2-3 levels as long as they aren’t super wide. I don’t like having to zoom out or put down all the walls to keep track of all my Sims. I want to enjoy all the decorations I put in because building is half the fun for me.

Twisted Mexi has a lot of cool mods for general stuff - i pretty much only have their mods in my game now and they all work great. My favorites are the TOOL (take objects off lot) mod and the cheat mods that just turn the cheats on when you boot the game up

Happy belated birthday Ashley🎂🎉🎁 I rate this build 10/10 Here's a challenge: Build a completely traditional family home for a family of 8 sims (maybe a large victorian home?). Two parents, two teenagers, two kids, two toddlers. Make it fun and colorful with lots of skill-building items (I know this is out of your comfort zone😏) Question: 19:23 is the couch functional? cause it looks like the coffee table is blocking it. I'd check it out myself but I've only got base game so it'll just be replaced with something else

No I don’t use any mods besides the expandable catalog mod I mentioned :) I do like to place lots of lighting down in the beginning to make sure my room is well lit when furnishing though :)

I use basements only to build built in modern fireplaces cause I really don't like the fireplaces we have in the game. Am I the only one? I think EA should give us built in fireplaces, at the end of the day I am only asking for a black window with a flame behind it lol

Yes, I try to prioritize function and playability above all. I do build with the bb.moveobjects cheat on, so sometimes there may be an item that I accidentally missed during my testing. For the most part I have a good idea of what would or would not work when I am building :)
