No sir kites technique is something different and was performed by doctor only but actually it lost value bcos fulcurum used was calcaneocuboid joint which was wrong n didn’t allowed to correct the deformity so called kites error Renouned ponsetti technique uses lateral head of talus as fulcurum It took ORTHOPEDICS 40 years to move from cc joint to lateral head of talus

After Tenotmey denis brown shoe need to be wear for 23 hrs for 3 Months. Then night and nap time for minimum for 12-14 hrs a day for 5 yrs. Pls correct your information.
