The minute I saw this pan I instantly started having 1uz regrets. Sooooo much support and cool stuff for stuffing a Beams in an ae86.

It's taken a long time, but the beams support has been great the last couple years! I'm surprised the 1UZ stuffs never got this good tbh.

What is the measurement from the centre of the crankshaft to the bottom of the sump? I'm researching possible engine swaps for my Toyota SFA pickup, but concerned with the sump clearing the axle.

Hard for to say for sure, with a kinda smashed stock oil pan it's like 8-8.5". The JSP fab pan is like an inch shorter I think.

@@DoctoredGarage single vs multi( kzbin.info/www/bejne/mWXViJWijtpmepo ) , anything multi usually down the road causes more issues. Just a general thought both look really good though.

True, more parts to fail. However... The 2 piece design did allow for more oil capacity to be added at the back instead of the sides. Fwiw, there are a lot of 2 piece oil pan designs from OEMs that don't really have issues. Guess we'll see how this holds up long term ha. I think overall the JSP pan is better because of the 4+ different measures taken to ensure the pickup always has oil.
