The way I share ps plus so that I can play online with my other accounts is to make the user with the ps plus activate the ps4 to their primary one so that you can play online and use the same games as that user

This would make it so that everyone has a "ps plus subscription" (basically you would be able to play online and use games from the ps plus users account.) Just to add you won't have a ps plus subscription you would just have the ability to play online and play monthly games.

​@@kabishnando4286know its late but add them as a family member to the ps account. Its somewhere in the settings. I made a second account for myself on ps5, at first it didn't let me online. I added it to my family on my main account and boom it was sorted. There's also a setting in account management that asks if you want to share things with the otherbaccounts on the local device, enable that. This should sort it for you or anyone.else trying. Only works on that device though, they won't have it on their own device.

What an absolute hassle. It should based on hardware not software (user accounts). Example, the entire PS device is enabled for online play. Download a game, got three kids? They all get to use it under their profile and it keeps track of progress/trophies based on who is logged in.

Sony is atrocious. They really are the Ebenezer Scrooge of the gaming world. I just bought my PS5 tonight and my daughter wants to play with her cousins 4 states away and it's ridiculous that she has to play under my ID. When someone spends an AZZ load of money on a premium account, every ID on THAT particular PS5 should be online enabled. The online capability paid for should be linked to THAT console, not just one account on that one console. You should have to jump through hoops to get your money's worth... turning this setting off, turning this one on, logging out to turn around and log back in, to turn this setting on and this setting........DAMN IT!!!

This is literally how it's worked for years just activate the account with plus as the primary, the owner of that account can still play on different consoles on there own profile and every other profile on the main console can access most plus benefits, including downloading games from the primary library and playing them online, I have done this for 13 years and its always worked exactly like that.

They did. I did the same thing and rockstar was monitoring my account. They sent me a email saying they reset my password and i had to sign in with a new password. After i did that, all my other accounts couldn't be shared anymore.

When using this method of sharing PS+ ( primary PS+ account deactivated ) with another user... ( ps+ has been transferred to another user account ) Can the now newly transferred ps+ account user use ps+ while the ps+ owner has set their second console as primary..? Thus allowing the second console users access to ps+ while the Newly transferred ps+ user ALSO has access to ps+ on first console at SAME time. Essentially allowing Any TWO user accounts to access ps+ on BOTH consoles simultaneously. As far as I know, only the primary active set console users have ps+ access and ONLY the ps+ account owner has access on the Primary Deactivated console rather than any other console user PRIOR to transferring ps+ using the method explained in this video.

You don’t need to do any of this shit. Just send a Family Request from the account that has PS Plus to the account that doesn’t have it - then get the account that doesn’t have PS Plus to accept the Family Request. Once you’ve done that, both accounts can use PS Plus.

Maybe this year (2023) something has changed, but it seems that it is no longer possible to activate the full plus on a secondary profile. Of course, it is possible to share some features of the plus, but once the whole procedure has been followed, the yellow cross of the plus does not appear on the secondary account. So, on the main account I have the full plus, while on all the other accounts I can only play games downloaded from the main account, while CLOUD SAVES CAN'T BE HAVE etc.. In short, it's not a real PLUS on other accounts, it's limited in functions. Is it right? Thank you!!!

As easy as this seems every time I try to add my wife it's making me give her a psn account as well not sure what I'm doing wrong to fix that using all the steps

@@Mob-es9jm You have to go into account settings and make a family account basically creating anotha user 👤 then you have to make a another ps account for that user that will give you the option without paying for plus and that user will get everything you get without being a subscriber

Bro I tested and it works! If you have your ps plus on one account and the others not all you have to do is activate the account with ps plus as if it is the main console and the other without disabling! Success

Hey there, awesome video and great explanation. I have a question though since I am in a very particular scenario. I recently bought the PS5 and never had a PS4 so no issues there regarding transfering or sharing from PS4. However, I live in Uruguay and the price of the PS Plus Extra subscription was substantially cheaper in the Uruguaian store vs the US one, even more so with the black friday discounts so I went ahead and bought a 12 month subscription in the Uruguaian store. Now regarding game purchases, I found it to be way cheaper on the US store, so I went ahead and created a secondary account on my PS5 with US as its region and have been buying top up cards from G2A and redeeming the codes on my wallet and buying some games from the US store. So on one hand I have PS Plus Extra subscription on my Uruguay account and then I have bought many games on the US account. I don't intend to share with a friend for now but all I want is to be able to play all games (PS Plus Extra games and bought games) from any of those 2 accounts. Not sure which one I should use as my main as I still haven't started really playing online. Note that I also have 2 more accounts of my kids in which I would like for them to be able to access all games either subscription or bought from any of those 2 main accounts. I noticed that If I'm logged into the Uruguay account with the PS plus Extra sub, and go to the Game Library, under Your Collection I don't see the games I bought in the US account, I only see them under Installed if I installed them on the US account. So it's not ideal. So basically what I'm asking is which account should I be using as my main account to be able to play everything, subscription games and bought games. Is there a way to do this or do I have to switch from one to the other depending on the game? Also, is there a way to be able to play online on all accounts including the 2 of my kids that don't have their own subscriptions? Thanks a lot in advance! Take care, Juan.

It's region specific. You are going to need to hop from one to another. You will never be able to combine them for what you want. If you have more games on the US one, I'd make that one the main one and buy PS+ for that account. As for your other concern: I have console sharing enabled on my PS5 and my kids have been able to play multiplayer games like Rocket League (make sure they have their own PSN account), and my wife has been able to play Diablo 3 using my shared game collection, so it should work as long as you have that set.

Watched your video 6 or 7 times, did this step by step while watching the video, 360 licenses transferred after I deactivated and logged back into my account all while the secondary account (daughters account) was logged in. Go into her account while still logged in, only 1 license reactivated....did they fix this to tick us off? Just trying to play online PS Plus games with her with my PS5 without having to budget out a second PS Plus account...really this should be allowed when coming from the same external IP anyway....waaaait did i miss something in your fast talking that said she still can't play games I've already downloaded onto the PS4? does this crap only work if I have to still buy two copies, we just don't need to pay the troll toll to play online together????
