All quality synths here, but you have to appreciate that Claudio could make even a Casio SA-47 sound as good as any of these as it is the musician and not the instrument.

Sure the instruments, hardware help but ultimately it's the musician's creativity , inspiration even in the face of hardship or despair that creates timeless music we all enjoy and never forget.

5:39 ese sonido del TEO 5 es simplemente expectacular, no se ha inventado un sintetizador que le haga sombra al TEO, yo en 55 años que tengo no lo he escuchado nunca

You crack me up Claudio.. I'm a guitar player but subscribe to you primarily for you're energy and humor. I always keep a couple keyboards in the house as well and really enjoy you're channel.

Claudio, I took up synth piano because of your catalog and goofy energy. I wanna play like Doctor Mix, man!

Relatable! I play guitar and keyboards (increasingly the past few years) Dr Mix influenced me to become primarily a synth and keys player now. And MAN how I lust for that Rhodes. 🤤 Some day... But for now the Yamaha Reface CP will do nicely. 😁

Well what can I say? This is Doctor (Re)Mix at his studio best... Building awesome track layers for fun... The combination of synths and skilful artist performance is an essential watch for budding keyboardists. Great show Claudio!

In the late 80's, my cousin and I were very much into synths (he had a poly-6 and I had a S10 sampler + a TR-505 drum machine), and we were thinking "the coolest thing would be to be able to make a vibrato on the keyboard the same way it is done on a guitar or a violin, by jiggling the keys left and right". But as teenagers, we didn't had a clue how to get that done and patent the idea. But probably thousands of people had the same idea at the same time around the world... Anyway it's great to see that it has been donne a few decades later😊

Love that you actually can use synths for music and your playing of the Osmose demonstrates why it is next gen for keyboards especially wrt immediacy and real time nature. The Polybrute still seems to be a press and wait synth even though it need not be because it is analog .Maybe it is using midi to feed its internal engines so the keyboard scan, debounce and serial nature of midi with its random 1-20ms latency may be causing this characteristic. You can tell by how fast the player tends to play and the length of the improvised phrasing. Press and wait synths can only inspire you to play short phrases until you decide to wait like talking on your cell phone with a random echo.

Firstly. Merry Christmas to Dr Mix and the team! Love the channel 😁 But.I have to add..sometimes the rhodes just doesn't belong. In this instance Rhodes + that phat oberheim did not equal audio pleasure. Sorry Claudio, I know you love it. But just cause it's a good stand for most of your Synths, don't mean you always have to add it to the track.😜 Often I wish it was portable enough to be put away like the others 😋

Hi Claudio, great (musical) video. A pleasure to watch! Would it be an idea to make a video about the first-generation VA's (Nord Lead 1, Access Virus A, JP-8000, and AN1x, for instance)? To see/hear how they stand nowadays and tell some about their background. Another idea: a factory tour at Clavia (Nord) or Novation/Focusrite. I think this would be so interesting.

If I made a similar video, it'd be the "Top 1 keyboard I bought in the last 4 years." But if I could have one new synth, I'd probably go for the PolyBrute 12. There are more expensive synths, but I think the PolyBrute 12 just seems so damn cool. The Muse might be my second pick.
