Amazing work. I rode a brand new 2008 xb12ss off the Harley lot and still ride it to this day .nothing can compare. Thank you for this video There’s not many break down videos like this for this amazing and unique motorcycle. Keep them coming much appreciated.

Recently picked up a XB9SX that’s not running right. Checked the fuel pressure last night. 17psi. Ordered rebuild kit today. I’ll be doing this job when the kit arrives. Thanks for the video!!!

I have been watching your videos now for few days on/off and gotta admit, I really like these. You also show the frustrating parts of job which is nice, like at 5:47 with the plastic cover :) That bike looks so good

Excellent job on the pump. Those 2003-early2004 pumps have an undeserved bad rep. They're tedious to rebuild but are an excellent piece and easily serviceable.And if you ever do another XB fuel pump, don't waste your time removing the swingarm pivot for more access. Just unbolt the lower shock mount as you did and enough wiggle room...barely...to R&R the pump.

Man I was super confused at the start with the whole rear pulley and what looked like the swingarm coming off, and the I remembered Buell stored the gas in the frame with and the "tank" was just an airbox. I've been wanting one for a long time but that looked like a serious pain lol

How many miles on that fp
@DoctorMotorcycle2 жыл бұрын
38k, but the previous Buell I restored on this channel had 10K miles and was in even worse condition. If anything sets for 6+ months with a low-amount of E10 gas in it, fuel pump will likely be shot
