Great video but I felt like you should’ve included some more info for example, about these website’s market prices since some do charge more than others or if some of these websites might need a proxy shipping service if your buying out of the country, etc etc. Other than that, great video! 3:58 you missed the best thing about Solaris. Undervalueing. You can lower the value of your order by sliding the bar when ordering. That way you will pay less customs. Instead of paying customs on a 20000 yen order you pay them on 2000 yen for example. Doing that they are a lot cheaper than Amiami or Goodsmile.

The problem purchasing figures from North America are the prices! Rarely do I see a deal good enough to warrant not paying for the extra shipping cost from Japan when I factor in the very high prices the North American based companies charge for their figures.

Kaionation is Spanish indeed. Ordered a few times from them. They use the same shipping concept as FNC does. Train shipping to an European warehouse then send it to me. Lately i have been using FNC more because they are actually cheaper now, even including shipping. Dollar is lower than Euro. I believe they have the same base price but one is in dollar the other in euro. So 300 dollar and 300 euro and converted with credit card rate 300 dollar is 280 euro. A year ago Kaionation was cheaper than FNC. 300 dollar back then was 320 euro

Great tips! This video showed several places I didn't know about. I may not use them, but having extra options never hurts. I get hit by customs all the time. Haven't had any issues with them yet and resin statue delays are pretty common. The studios are usually the ones deciding these things so I wouldn't fault FNC too much... 😅

I have a few questions about AmiAmi's preowned section/AmiAmi in general because I haven't' boughten from them before. First, when you buy a figure from the preowned section, do you message the seller of the item? The final question is how bad is the shipping costs? (I live in the Northern Part of America). I'm planning to buy like 2 prizes and a single Nendoroid but scared the shipping's going to be insane. Thanks for your help!

Hey! The Amiami preowned section is items they have procured from other Japanese sellers so you don't have to message anyone and they handle everything! Shipping won't be too bad and you can check which method you want at checkout. If you can wait and want to save a few bucks then I recommend using Surface Parcel. Delivery times will be anywhere from 1 to 3 months as a heads up! Hope this helps! 😅

Yea, if a damaged item arrives you'll need to reach out to the site to see if they can help source a replacement part. Doesn't always work so have some super glue handy... 😅

If we are talking about investing and holding value then I would recommend going the licensed route. Only buy into unlicensed if you really love a specific design or want to save some money. Hope this helps!

Yea, they usually just go off their grading system guide and don't usually elaborate too much unless it's a C grade in which you'll find some more info on it. Normally, B is still solid for the figure but if you're picky start at B+ and C is if you think you can fix or hide the damage. 😬

Hey! For figures I'd recommend sticking with Megahouse and their Portrait of Pirates line. As for licensed statues my picks are Jimei Palace, Tsume, Ryu, Soul Wing, Unique Art, Light Year or Infinity. They all have solid quality but some studios have their own spin or flavour for each piece! 😆
