I never understood the Rose/Sarah rivalry... Sarah was never romantically linked with Three or Four. Sure, she and Fourth had some fun times but Four was like that to every female companion he had (Romana, Leela, etc). I would've believed Jo/Rose rivalry more because Jo had an extra romantic chemistry with Pertwee... And I always thought Third Doctor was low-key jealous Jo left him to get married. Also, I remember Sarah Jane often had banters with Harry. But even that was retconned by New Who when they wrote Harry in as gay in Knock Knock (when they introduced his great grand son).

I hope that Martha shows up at some point in this new UNIT spinoff that’s in the works. I know that they’d need to explain why she’s not married to Mickey anymore, since I doubt that they’ll want Noel Clarke anywhere near The Whoniverse, plus the fact that Martha is nowhere to be seen in Power Of The Doctor, despite her of all people being someone who would benefit from a companion support group, gives me the impression that Freema Agyeman isn’t interested in returning to the show, but I’m still holding out hope.
