Probably my favorite episode yet! The testimonies at the end were so powerful. Thank you for all you do! Merry Christmas!

My husband and 26 year old son are waiting for me on the other side and there is NO WAY that I would ever give up Eternal marriage and families! I loved hearing the three of you testify of the love that you have for your wives and families, and it made me a little teary. I also loved hearing what Elder Holland had to say. Do you have much information on how well that families got along living in polygamy? I am a descendant from polygamy on my father's side but know nothing more than their names. This has been a great series and thank you so much!

"If ye knock ye shall receive" isn't just for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, it's for anyone who seeks even people who don't realize who they are seeking from ❤

How about you change that to just Jesus Christ he’s way bigger way more powerful than just your church

I've long felt that the idea that there are only two churches was a principle that cuts horizontally across all churches, even atheism with those on the bottom the church of Lucifer and those on the top the church of Christ. I feel like we bob up and down between the two throughout our lives as we move from creation fall and atonement over and over again.

that speech at the end was awesome

This so awesome. It really articulated how I feel. But didn't know how to put it. Thankyou. This series has been totally great

It's a simple answer why, for the same reason he guided Lehi and his family out of Jerusalem, why he continued guiding nephites to the end, why he continued guiding those known later by Indians, why he continued guiding protestants to rebel against catholic authority and Catholics who wanted peace and why he continues to guide us to this day besides all our shortcomings. Because of his unending love of all of his children.

I'd argue that we have definitely not given up the principle of Plural Marriage, we merely moved it into a place where law, custom and bigotry will only dimly assail it. We still follow the "Nauvoo Theology", if not through overt practice, then through policy understanding continuity between life and death.

Thank you for this episode. I'm so relieved that we don't have to send everybody else to hell who doesn't share our beliefs😅

A polyglot knows many languages. A polymath has expertise in many different fields.

Best introduction ever. Luke 9:49-50 covers this, too. I think we should only join the church, which God directs us to join because he knows best, doesn't he?

43:36 what’s funny? Is you guys say that and you believe it but yet your churches still the one and true only church that everyone should end up at? Have you tried casting the beam out of your own eye first and maybe just maybe your church isn’t as perfect as you think it is. Maybe we are the ones who are supposed to continue to look for truth and not be afraid of where it leads, even if it leads away from the Mormon church. We’re all the heroes of our own story. I’m not saying God’s not in the Mormon church. Maybe he’s trying to show you more versus you need to show others more.

The Righteous Branch story you told at the beginning of this podcast was disappointing……. You came off as arrogant. This is a classic example of Utah Mormons thinking they’re better than everyone else….. huge turn off.

Simple it's because the church is not true. And God inspires people anywhere
